Not what I expected

When my son told me we were going to Toby's Public House my mind conjured up an old fashioned pub, with old fashion Irish fare. Wrong again! It was an old fashion pub with $6 beer and a special lunch menu that called for $15 pizza. Instead I tried the $14 asta bolagnese. My wife loved the spinach... read more

The pizza at Toby's is awesome! We went with our granddaughters and they ate and ate, and so did we. Loved the truffle pizza. If you're in Brooklyn, go! For the not pizza lovers, there are salads and pastas. The salads are delish!

All of the food is great. Love the pizzas. The wait staff is great, especially Crys. I go every time I'm in Brooklyn.

This was just around from the spot I was staying it - a friend having called to meet there so we could take in one of the world cup games playing at the bar. So, it became my 'local' - easy to catch the games, no massive crowds and had the incredibly handy benefit of great pizzas on offer. All... More

Toby's has a nice menu of quick bar food that isn't just fried junk. Pizza is tasty and the fresh mozz w asparagus was delicious. They have a nice variety of beers. Service was ok/average.

I was staying fairly nearby for work and was looking for a good bar to hang out at while in the area and Toby's fit the bill. They have a wood fired oven with some nice choices. The crowd was pretty mellow and they had a good number of tv's to watch the games.
