I live in Fairbanks so we usually only eat here when the deck is open. One side is a dinner menu after 5, the other side is bar menu all day. It's on the Chena River and you can dock right there, mojito time! The food is good - I always get the Seafood Chowder and the Alaskan Seafood Sampler... More

Food was great, but our waitress was not very friendly and we felt like we were a bother to her. The place wasn't that crowded on a Wednesday evening, so maybe she was just having a bad night. Anyway, the experience could have been better had she been nicer. The building is an experience due to it's history. Hope to... More

Our party of 27 were served by Raqu and Patrick with attention to every person and every detail. We ordered off the menu, seafood, steak, prime and it was all prepared to perfection, served with style and everyone ate at once. Our thanks to Ken and the entire staff at the Historic Pumphouse allowing us to learn some Alaska lore,... More

I am so pleased everything worked out great for you at The Pumphouse. It was wonderful having you in our house and we certainly enjoyed serving a great group of young folks. You must be proud of them; we certainly were appreciative that you selected our place for your final meal in Fairbanks. We wish you continued success and hope... More

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful evening at the Pump House Restaurant the day after Thanksgiving. We were with our daughter's basketball team who were in Fairbanks for a tournament. Even though we had over 20 people at several tables, service was prompt and courteous. Our meals were excellent -- I had the sirloin and my husband had grilled... More

Meal was overpriced with lousy quality food. Tasteless. a real tourist trap. do yourself a favor and visit the Oasis. Much less ambiance but great food. Do not waste your money at the pump house

I am so sorry you had a bad experience. We take all negative responses as a tool too improve. It would have helped if you were a bit more specific about what you had that you didn't like. Did you ask for a manager to solve your problem? I didn't see our comment which comes with you bill filled out... More

Grabbed a beer and a quick dinner on our way to the airport. Good choices in beer and seafood. We enjoyed sitting outside on the river. Inside were all kinds of treasures from the days it was a pump house for gold mining. Cool bar with old pool tables.

The Pump House Restaurant is one of our family favorites. We enjoy the Sunday buffet. I recommend making a reservation and getting there early - not because it will fill up (which it might) but because I prefer choosing a table farther away from the buffet line. The line can be a bit noisy. In the summer months, they have... More

In the winter be warned of seafood. It's not as fresh as you might hope but still tasty. The ambiance of this restaurant is worth the trip if you have a car.

Showed up Saturday night around 6p with no wait. The service was amazing and our waitress Heather was friendly and knowledgeable. The crab au gratin was delicious and served with just enough bread! The seafood chowder was perfectly seasoned and had no fishy taste, you could tell that it was fresh. For dinner my husband got the ribs which were... More

The first time my husband and I went to the Pump House was for our anniversary and we dressed up to the T because we thought it was a fancy place. We had no idea all over Fairbanks is really laid back as far as fashion...well, and most else is concerned. Be ready for amazing food in a laid back... More
