Good stuff

The food is always good here. Not overt the top but it is good. Service is prompt and courteous. Try the seafood fajitas.

I love Mexican food and I've eaten it all over North America, but this is, by far, the poorest attempt at preparing Mexican food I have ever experienced. I'm not sure these people could find Mexico on the map. There were only five people in the restaurant, so the service was excellent. But the food...... If you absolutely have to... More

First time eating at this location and last! We walked I guess on the Azteca side which is very confusing. We were told we had to order and pay at the register then get our drinks, utensils & salsa ourselves then go find a table. The people behind us had chips and someone getting all there items for them???? I... More

The kitchen is shared with a restaurant next door. The building is half Mayan Palace and Half Mexican food next door. Mayan palace is more of a cantina/restaurant and the other side is more diner like. Anyways you'll save a few bucks going next door for essentially the same food. They say its a different menu with different ingredients but... More

My husband and I had dinner for the second time this month at the Mayan Palace. He had the Aztec grande burrito , while I had a cheese enchilada and chili relleno from the ala carte menu. The food came surprisingly quick. The service was attentive. Mayan Palace's prices are quite reasonable for Fairbanks. The Aztec grande burrito is so... More

We just arrived in Fairbanks and ran into this restaurant not to far from the airport connected to the Taco Azteca. Good was good and portion size was very reasonable. The side of chips we ordered tasted a bit stale or out of an supply, which was disappointing. Would recommend.

As the other two reviews said, the food is good, but it is pricey. Two dinners, one beer and a tip was $40 and that was for lunch. Would we return? Probably, it's hard to find good Mexican on the road.

Never eaten at this location, but the North Pole location is great! I've heard several bad reviews on the Fairbanks location. North Pole offers great food and excellent service! Priced a bit high, average for our family of 4 just reg. meals no apps. and no soft drinks runs about $65-75 for dinner.

Went there for lunch with the family, and the food was pretty good, has the two enchilada meal, wife had the taco salad, both were good. The queso dip needs to be revamped though, seems like every Mexican restaurant around here puts spinach in everything (being from Texas originally, that's unheard of). It is a little on the expensive side... More
