We were opting between this or Denny's...this won because we thought they would have "homemade" style verses "food service grade". It is the same food service food that the fast food restaurants sell The restaurant allows smoking. The interior is older and not well maintained. I can not imagine being so hungry that I would ever choose return.

We travelled to Fairbanks to visit a friends family, and on the way to the airport before flying home we had to stop and get lunch. We passed this non-descript building that was advertising itself as a restaurant. We U-turned, went back, parked and walked in a little wary. It doesn't look like much, the booths and tables are close... More

I should have left when the hostess asked if I wanted smoking or non-smoking section. Seriously? Is that still even legal? Food was mediocre diner style - my omelet with hash browns was flavorless with plasticy "cheese." I wasnt' expecting fine dining but... yuck. On the plus side, my server was attentive and friendly despite being very busy.

We went here twice while in Fairbanks and neither time were disappointing. The portions were quite large and for a decent price in comparison to other places in Alaska. I would gladly go back there again.

This place is open 24 hours and have a great variety of food to choose from. The staff is always friendly and service is great. I love eating here but most of the time I order food to go and its never cold when I pick it up.

Ate there for lunch on our summer trip to Alaska. Great soup and sandwich - large servings, reasonably priced. Soup of the day was a Beef Vegetable soup with cabbage in it. Ordered more "to go" so we could take back to the camper and have it for our evening meal - the service was friendly and very helpful. They... More

If you are drunk leaving the bar this is the perfect place for you to eat because you won't remembe rthe poor choice you made going to this place. Lack freshness, speedy service ( imean how long does it take to make an egg) service is horrible. Fairbanks is in serious need of a need and vibriant place to dine.

In preparation for a long flight to the lower 48, I skipped breakfast at the B&B I was staying in, only to be told there are not many breakfast options in Fairbanks (whether true or not I did not know). When I found the Airport Way Restaurant, I decided to give it a try. I can't get over the service... More
