The atmosphere and menu lead one to expect a quality meal. Not so much. The vegetables are over steamed with ZERO seasoning. Same with the potatoes. The meat dishes were fairly well prepared, but nothing special. My husband ordered their special Surf and Turf. The shrimp were nice, but the rib eye was very disappointing. Not tender and clearly not... More

This restaurant is ranked quite high so we tried it for dinner. Apparently we are here during a very unusual high temperature period. There was no air conditioning, and even though they had fans moving the air, the temperature was 87 degrees - a bit too high for our comfort. The menu is fairly limited but the selections are very nice.... More

This is such a charming little restaurant. The food is all fresh and made from scratch. Do not miss the seared scallop appetizer! The planked salmon is a wonderful dinner. The MUST have is any of the desserts. OMG! So fabulous. The five of us each got a different one to share. The favorites were the lemon cake, the amaretto... More

Growing up in Fairbanks, this was a place that felt special for dinner out. On my two recent visits, it has been much less satisfying. Dark inside, we found the service to be VERY slow, and the food was only so-so. The attention to detail was lacking. If you go in with modest expectations and plenty of time, it might... More

This has been a favorite restaurant of mine for many years. Sadly it was falling into disrepair for some time but within the last year a new owner has bought it and put the love it needed back into it! Prices have gone up but, for good reason. Many items are also made with better quality. It is also nice... More

I loved the interior decor of this restaurant! You need to be aware that there are sculptures, paintings, and drawings of wolves. They are tastefully presented throughout the restaurant. Wolf Run is a quaint restaurant that uses an old home and has been remodeled for food preparation and service. The entrees are absolutely delicious, particularly the seafood. It's been awhile,... I really wanted to eat fish but all I was finding was fried fish and chips. Decided to try this place because it sounded promising. Restaurant was very nice inside, beautiful woodwork. I ordered the halibut, which came with yellow squash and cauliflower and a Parmesan risotto. It was wonderful; the fish was cooked perfectly and the rest was very... More

From the Northwest soup to the Alaska Grown high quality produce, lunch was delicious. Visiting many friends in our home town.

We had a great dinner with friends at Wolf Run. The hummus appetizer was terrific, as was my chicken kabob entrée. And between the 8 of us we tried 4of the desserts. All were yummy, but I think the peanut butter pie was my favorite. Looks like the new ownership and new chef are working out well!
