Lots to eat

If you didn't get enough to eat it wasn't the Salmon's Bake's fault. They had Prime Rib- not rare enough, chicken and salmon. There was dessert to follow. Like all specialty places in Alaska they had another gift shop.

We ate here on a Friday. We discovered that they add crab to the food options for the weekends so we waited to go until Friday. A bit pricey but worth it. They also have salmon, prime rib and cod. The salmon was fire baked with a somewhat sweet coating which at first, threw me off (I am used to... More

Recommended by tour company. Big letdown, food overdone, despite advance reservations not prepared for diners on our visit. The food in greatest abundance were hot dogs.

Hyped up by my friends. Ended up being a junky golden coral wanna be. Prime rib was over cooked and seafood was mediocre at best. The outdoor seating was infested by bees. Dessert coffee was the highlight.

My husband and I enjoyed the Salmon Bake very much. There was a good variety in the salad bar. The chefs cook the salmon and roast beef right in front of you so it is nice and fresh. There is a very pretty picnic grove or you can sit inside. We enjoyed eating outside and shared a table with some... More

We have eaten here every time we go to Fairbanks. The prime rib was perfect and was the proper temperature. The salmon was cooked perfectly and the marinade they use is incredible. The salad bar was fresh and well stocked. The chocolate cake was great and I went back for two more servings! If you are hungry during your next... More

We heard how great the food was. But somewhat disappointed. The salmon was average at best, the prime rib was very tough and almost unable to be chewed. The crab legs were okay. The desserts looked good, but... The location was a nice setting with outdoor or indoor seating.

Overall it's a good meal perhaps a little pricey around 40.00 Although it is all you can eat of steak, grilled and battered Halibut and steamed crab legs, salad bar and drink; although the desserts Sponge cake and blueberries was a little disappointing. You may want to bring bug spray. It is on the edge of Pioneer Park a very... More

Situated along the Pioneer Park, this is a must visit Restaurant in Fairbanks. This is also popular with Tour buses as well. this is an All you can Eat Restaurant buffet style with Two Drinks free. As the name suggests, tried Salmon and enjoyed it, as did the Cod. but the last part is most interesting ..... :) desserts. Yum... More

We took the free shuttle from our hotel to the Salmon Bake. It was very relaxed atmosphere. Loved the salmon and there was a good selection of salads available. After we had finished eating we enjoyed a stroll around the park before getting the shuttle back to our hotel.
