We only went to eat and ignored the show. The salmon is fresh and well prepared, save room for more. The battered cod is just plain good. The prime rib was tasty, but a bit tough. The salad bar is traditional and the blueberry dessert is pretty good. The experience was pretty good for outdoor dining, except I think I... More

We spent most of the day at Pioneer Park, it was a rainy day, but there were so many things to see there and we enjoyed the park. We decided to eat at the salmon bake, it was right there. The food was overcooked and nothing special at all for the price. We happened to be there when a large... More

If you are in Fairbanks for more than 1 day, don't miss Salmon bake+show. The food is served outside, so if you are going on a rainy day, your plate is going to be wet by the time you reach the salmon which is grilled outside in the rain (no roof over it). If the lines look long and if... More

Enjoy the outdoors with family while feasting on all you can eat Salmon, King crab legs, Cod, and Prime Rib. A great place to go for all the family to enjoy. There is a train and park for the kids to enjoy as well.

Not cheap, but go hungary and you will get what you pay for. Most of the seating is outside, but I went when it was raining and everyone was able to sit inside this cabin building they have...although part of the touristy experience was lost.

The meal was very good and was very well organized. It was awesome that you could go back up for more and more of the salmon, cod or prime rib (no crab as they apparently used to have)! It was cool that it is in the park and each of the buildings/shacks was a different part of the meal -... More

Great value for money, cant believe all the crab legs I had as well as all the prime rib. The salmon was also good, was not crazy about the cod but then I am not a fish person. Would highly recommend!

This outdoors BBQ appears to be available most of the summer. For $30 we bought a plate and then walked around and got as much food as we wanted from all the BBQs and tables. Fresh salmon, beef, and halibut right off the grill. Then we sat with other people on large picnic tables under the trees in Pioneer Park.... More

For years this restaurant offered high quality at a good value. King crab has been taken off the weekend menu and substituted with cheaper quality snow crab, but the price certainly wasn't lowered - and so they pad their profits. Maybe management thinks the public won't notice or care, but one of the things that set them apart is now... More

Food at the Salmon Bake was good. We walked into the building but it was awfully warm so we headed for one of the three tents outside. Food was good, people watching was better. I grew up in a Colorado tourist town where watching tourist was our summer enjoyment and I still enjoying doing so! We walked through the park... More
