This really is "all you can eat"

Well organised and slick operation. A great experience allowing families and tourists to share and enjoy well cooked salmon, cod and ribs. The evening also saw endless quantities of crab to be enjoyed. For the weak willed this is a belt busting evening. A great evening for every age and as... read more

Not my thing as aimed at tourists. Picnic tables to eat buffet on. Good central location by Pioneer Park. Menu can change depending on availability.

They used to have all you can eat halibut, but they have moved to Cod, which isn't bad but is NOT Halibut. Very touristy but the food is OK and I'm sure that cost has changed their menu. For the price you can do better.

This " bake" is served outdoors at a local park. We happened to be in the park and walked over just to be curious. Cab driver already warned us against eating here. He said it was terrible. Fish cook over a fire and prime rib is roasted and carved nearby. With the dinner you get to visit a pretty poor... More

Arriving in Fairbanks today as part of our pre-cruise land tour, my wife and I received a recommendation from our tour host to visit the Alaskan Salmon Bake. As today was Father's Day, Alaska King Crab had been added to the usual menu of Prime Rib, Grilled Salmon and Cod. There is no question that the location is a tourist... More

Sorry, but this place must be existing on previous years` reputation. We had salmon probably eight or nine times on our 14 day trip, and this was the only disappointment. worst. I seldom submit negative reviews, but we were with a couple who had been there five years before and they were mortified to have recommended it.

The food was average and the price was above average. The salmon was well prepared and tasty. The sides were average and the desserts mediocre.

This is hands down a tourist trap from the great beyond, but it's worth every second. Nestled in the northern portion of Pioneer Park (a pathetic attempt to combine Alaska's history into a theme park), you will find the Salmon Bake. You can tell by the smells that creep into your nostrils, that you are in for a GOOD TIME.... More

The salmon was the best I had all vacation. Since we were in salmon country for 3 weeks, that's saying a lot. We went on May 13th, the day after we flew in for our pre-cruise package that started on the 15th. The tables are outside, under trees...or not. You go up to the grills and you can pick out... More
