holey cow, if you could have one dish, i would recommend the cajun seafood pasta! order that with a half carafe of the house chianti, and you are set!!! for desert, try the tiramisu. that summed up the BEST dinner out we had in fairbanks, and after walking around exploring down town, it is the best place to go!! more

I loved sitting upstairs outside and watching the river during the summer. During the winter it was nice and cozy to huddle indoors with lovedones and share quiet conversations. This place is really classic as far as the food and atmosphere goes, with a little bit of italiano gaudy thrown in. I've had everything here but I love the Pesto... more

Had to try the 10 layer Lasagna, and man was it good and filling. The overall experience was very nice, the service was very good, and the food was excellent. What more is there to say. Had a business lunch there and it was agreed by all, that this was a very good choice. more

Gambardella has lost a long time customer due to terrible customer service. I use to frequent G’s and recommend it. Recently I made a reservation for a small wedding reception 16 people total, and I have received terrible customer service. There have been so many issues I don’t have time or space to list them. This restaurant is over-rated for its cuisine. The wait was too long and the young hostess-manager is not experienced to help out with the service staff. Do not bring children as they will have to wait longer than an adult could even stand to wait! They have no bussers. We all had several dishes that were just food... Under poor... more

This is the last time I visit this restaurant. The salt and pepper shaker and oil on the table are always dirty, as well as the silverware. We just had a very good dinner at this restaurant. The service was prompt and the waitress cheerful. We split an order of lasagna which was good as two separate entrees would have been way more than we could have eaten. The dinner salad was also large enough for us to split.
