Fine food, service ok, but they were busy at that time.

An odd basement location under a bowling alley. No doubt about the authenticity of the Korean food however. All seemed great to me. The kids thought it a bit too spicy, but that is expected. The night we were there a bus load of Asian tourists were there, so service was a bit slow, but not... read more

I always get a kick out of eating ethnic foods, and being that I was stationed in Korea, I love Korean food. I ordered a Hite, a Korean beer I personally enjoy and instead received a Sapporo a Japanese beer. I ordered Chicken Kimbap, and received bibimbap as well as Yaki Mandu for an appitizer. The food is great, but... More

Was initially apprehensive about going to eat beneath a bowling alley. The restaurant was surprisingly well appointed for its locale. A friend recommended the Bulgogi, my wife had beef and I the squid. We have had the acclaimed Pagoda Mongolian beef many times and found this a superior meal. This was truly a meal worth Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives.

We had one of the best Asian meals in Fairbanks at the Seoul Gate and Seoul Sushi Restaurant. We ate on the Sushi side of the restaurant, but my husband ordered from the Seoul Gate menu. I had a bulgogi dinner box with beef bulgogi, rice, salad, California rolls, and wonderful tempura. My husband had pork bulgogi which came with... More

Who would think you could get tasty Korean food in Fairbanks…underneath a bowling alley? It's a strange location but the food is great. The service is decent and the decorations are…interesting. They bring out 8 little plates of different types of food while you wait on your order. The type of food changes every day and it's all pretty tasty.... More

A business associate brought me here to eat. I was at first very skeptical because this restaurant is under a bowling alley. To my great surprise I realized this place is a hidden gem in Fairbanks. The food was fresh and delicious. If you leave her hungry it's your on fault. They start you with 8 appetizers. The menu is... More

We are on a two week driving tour of Alaska and wanted to find a reasonably priced restaurant with food that was tasty but not rich with calorie laden sauces, butter, etc as we are already getting tired of eating out every night. While the dining room is nothing facy, we found it very clean. ALL the staff was more... More

Cool place under a bowling alley. If you like Korean I'm sure you'll be pleased. They serve it up and service is pretty good.

I love the food here. I pretty much get the same thing every time (Bimimbap?) and it's always fresh and delicious. It is in an older building and the restrooms are down the hall, but the food is well worth it. I can't wait to go back!

Went to Seoul Gate for the first time after having been to Korea. It tasted and felt very similar to the restaurants that we ate in in Seoul. The food is really good and comes really fast. It has become our go-to restaurant for a quick family meal that is way up the scale from fast food and chain family... More
