The food is good. The service is great. The coffee is fresh and hot. What more could you ask for? Shopping? There is a little convenience store on the side. They have showers. And you can sleep in your car in the lot with out fear. It's the last stop before Coldfoot. I like to eat there and see my... More

Went hear yesterday after hearing about how great their pie is. When we got there it was small and quiet, only 3 other couples in the restaurant. The waitress said their cook has just quit that day and walked out on them. We didn't order any meal, we had just judged a chili contest an hour before so we went... More

Wanted to come back for another meal after my first stop in 2012, and was able to visit again twice in January 2013. First meal was a wonderful cod fish'n'chip meal that was their special of the day--portion was HUGE, breading was light and the fish was delicious. Returned once more for a french toast/bacon/hash brown breakfast that was very... More

Always a favorite stop for pie! A trip up the Haul Road is not complete with out a stop at Hilltop. If you want to go where the locals go, this is the spot!

You can order breakfast here any time of the day or night. When the food arrives you are amazed by how much food is on them. Make sure you leave enough room for dessert. Their pies are to die for.

Basic diner food that's very tasty plus they make some great homemade pies! I visit Hilltop at least once every couple of months and not much changes, it's always very good friendly service and big portions of food.

Nothing "fancy-schmancy here, but a really great blueberry pie, with real whole blueberries, not filler. Many other varieties too.. This is obviously a meeting place for all the truckers on this road to Prudhoe Bay so you can eavesdrop on conversations about "the next haul" or "closing down the mine." In short, no "atmosphere" --except as the gathering place for all... More

Good, solid American fare like you would expect from a truck stop. Don't go here looking for low fat or a salad loaded with sprouts. Instead, go for a burger and don't forget the pie. Or, they also have excellent breakfast fare.

This is a great place to take a very long scenic drive in the summer and have lunch. The actual restaurant however is kind of old and rustic but hey it is a truckstop! They have a variety of items on their menu and serve very large portions. Its definitely a different experience but it was a fun one!

Great Pie! Good place to stop if you're headed North. Nothing too special, just a good place to eat.
