Have been to many Japanese Restaurants / Sushi establishments in Japan, and this one doesn't quite fit the bill. Don't take my word for it.........Take a trip to Anchorage and search out the authentic, and you'll be surprised what differences you will find, and the way in which the fish is prepared and presented. Truly an art form. It's like... More

I love the extras they provide each meal, you will not only walk away full, but wanting to come back soon for more! They offer the best sushi in town, great prices, and always with exceptional customer service.

Went here during a 3-day visit to Fairbanks and was very pleasantly surprised with the high quality of the sashimi and other Japanese food. The ambiance was decent,. service was fantastic, and the price was not as high as we'd expected for the location and quality of food and service. We liked it so much we ate there three times... Went in for a late lunch. The food was ok, but to be fair we didn't try the sushi. The service was quick and friendly, and the portions were very large. The place was clean enough and the decor acceptable. With all the options in the Fairbanks area I'm not sure if we would go back.

We went there for dinner but it was too much food. They gave us free appetizers (edamame, some potatoes and a salmon salad) and free dessert. We ordered our main dish and it was a big plate. I prefer less amount of food but better quality.

My wife and I went to Ajimi with another couple. It was our first trip to Fairbanks and we relied on Trip Advisor for sushi recommendations. The food and service were excellent.

My friends and I regularly come to Ajimi. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the food has always been good for us. Prices are a bit on the high side, but for the freshness and quality, I am not complaining! I recommend Ajimi over all the other sushi restaurants in Fairbanks.
