I'm visiting my sister in Fredericksburg and we ate here for supper last night. She had recommended the shrimp & grits with andouille sausage, and it was very good, I'd get it again! Beer on draft very good and they have an extensive selection. Waitress very good, only reason not a 5 is it was very chilly inside, and I've... More

My girlfriend and I went here and sat outside. A nice outside space but staff is going in and out and not that responsive. Food was OK. Beware of bar area though as it smells like it hasn't been cleaned in 20 years.

This is a nice place in Fredericksburg where you can actually sit outside (front or back) and enjoy a meal /drinks in a courtyard setting or out front where you can watch the street traffic. Atmosphere is fantastic in both outside locations and this goes a long way towards the good times to be had there. The food is good... More

The white pizza is a "must-try!" A variety of beers and other drinks are available. Lunch is the best time for quiet conversations among friends since the bar crowd is louder later in the evenings..

We stopped while on a road trip. We had so many pleasant experiences over the past week we were very surprised by the poor attitude and gruff reception we received from the bartender. She was obviously not interested in making guests feel pleasant or even working. She was basically talking to her friend and sharing her friends plate of food... More

I showed up here after the main lunch rush on a fall Saturday, a party of 3 adults and a dog. We went straight to their advertised pet-friendly Back Yard, and were told by a waitress to go to the front reception desk for table assignment. My daughter and I went in, told them we had a dog, and that... More

Starters the dinning room was 90 plus degrees. My husband ordered jambalaya and they left the shells on the shrimp. As you know jambalaya is a very messy stew and digging the shrimp out and removing the shell was not pretty. Also I ordered a chicken quesadilla, when she brought to our table she said, the "salsa had turned". I... More

We have been to J Brians more than a few times and the food has been slipping. I planned a birthday party for my husband, talked to them twice and gave them a menu, paid in advance- BIG MISTAKE.. Ran out of plates??? out of Salsa, all the food -apps, salad and dinner all at the same time. I don't... More

We stopped by the Tap Room and I was surprised that they had about 30 beers/ales on tap. When I said this to my husband, he said it "IS a Tap room!!" I had a girly drink and my husband had a pint or two. Nice atmosphere - cozy bar.
