Good place to eat

Good location, solid food and good service as well. Everything we had was good. Not an Irish place, not sure if that's even what they are trying for.

My BF and I walked into this place today only to be totally ignored. After waiting for at least fifteen minutes in this not so busy restaurant; I finally called the waitress but she exclaimed, "Oh, you want to order?! That's not my area." Stunned and noticing she was tending to other customers who had walked in way after we... More

We were walking around the historic district of Fredericksburg and ran into this place. What a find. Great service and excellent food. If you want a quiet place to eat sit outside in the back. Good beers too.

My husband and me went here for lunch. It was just ok. I have the salmon salad and my husband had the chicken salad (because there were out of wraps, which we wanted but whatever) I wish my salmon was warm instead of cold but over all it was ok. I wouldn't tell people that this place is a must.... More

Once you get over the fact that J. Brian's Tap Room is not Irish, it's not bad. They have a limited Americanish menu of a variety of hamburgers, pizzas, salads, and the like. For lunch, I had the buffalo burger and thought it was great. My wife had the chicken breast sandwich, but it was too spicy for her, and... More

There appeared to be a nice selection of beers for a "tap room." The food was slightly better than average. The service was slow and inattentive. The menu appeared to be American gastro-pub food rather than Irish. The next time we visit Fredericksburg we may give it another try.

Took a trip to Fredericksburg this week for the first time. After a nice walk about town and time for lunch decided to have some Irish fare. My wife is Irish and myself well half. Hit J Brian's at 12:30, looked nice from outside, guess there was 2 other couples waiting for their food, that's all, place not very busy.... More

We took a motorcycle trip to Fredericksburg & walked around the historic downtown checking out the different restaurants. We finally decided on the Tap Room. We all had the chicken salad wrap which was a great choice. The chicken salad was exceptional. The service was great. I would like to go back on a cooler day so we could sit... More

My husband and I stopped at Brian's Tap Room for lunch while visiting the historic district in Fredericksburg. It looks like an old house converted into a restaurant, with high ceilings and large windows. Our server was friendly and came back twice to check on us. I had a chicken salad wrap (big enough for two) and battered fries (delicious!).... More

Had the adult man n cheese and it was great. Hubby had a burger and enjoyed it as well. Nice atmosphere, good waitstaff in a nice location.
