Smyrna has options for vegans and vegetarians. It is relatively healthy - most items are prepared on site. Also, having been to Turkey, this food is the closest I have found to the wonderful meals served in family homes. It can become pricey quickly so just be aware that if the menu does not include it as part of the... More

Please carefuly check quoted services and your card card bill if you hire catering services. Our bill was vastly different for service rendered on 27 March 2014 and agreed price. As an earlier reviewer wrote, "SNEAKY SERVICE".

This place is tucked away in the corner. I live right up the road and have driven past the place many times, today I was in the mood for gyro and decided to stop. Had the gyro platter, it was pretty good. Service was subpar, lady was on the phone the entire time. Has a weird set up, half the... More

I wish there were a 3.5 rating, I don't think this experience warrants very good, but it was better than average. After a long day of shopping and finding myself super hungry, I decided a gyro would hit the spot. I recalled a small forgotten restaurant that I had been to about two years ago and was pleased with the... More

The food was very good, however the grocery store atmosphere was off putting. The "server" was much more interested in selling us Olive Oil than allowing us to enjoy our food. They also charged for additional side items without making it clear that the items were not included with the meal. Peculiar, but very tasty.

I am a gyro fan. I try them everywhere I go, and most of the time they are 'okay'. Smyrna has the best tasting gyro meat I have ever had, anywhere, hands down! My wife who doesn't even like the taste of gyro meat liked it. The service was friendly and prompt. We got a full run-down of the menu... More

Smyrna was a great find!! It was such a joy to get authentic Turkish food. The atmosphere was very warming, and the owners are very hands on. They will make sure you have a great dining experience. If you happen to be passing through Fredericksburg, you must stop and dine. This place is easy to find, and right acrodd the... More

Across the river from Old Town Fredericksburg this is a great little store and place to eat for Greek food with a Turkish twist. Often playing belly dancing videos on their TV they'lll be sure to tell you how they make their food and what their ingredients are - all natural and AWESOME! Take their olive oil taste test -... Our family was discussing whether to go to the pizza place or the Turkish restaurant next door. One of Smyrna's owners popped out and invited us in. We're glad we went. They were extremely nice, gave us samples of appetizers, and thoughts on what to eat. The food was good, and we look forward to returning another time. I'd like... More

I was visiting Fredericksburg and came across this restaurant on Trip Advisor. It was located on a strip mall, but don't let that stop you from enjoying both Turkish and Greek foods! The owner greeted us, even let us sample some her appetizers to help us choose what we wanted to eat. My husband and I have eaten homemade Turkish... More
