Italian food just does not get better than this. This was a slow night and we had personal service but the food was over the top good. We will return to Vita Felice when we return to Fredericksburg.

A little pricey but tasty food . Nothing real creative on menu ,just the usual italian dishes. Better alternative to junk food

This is a small, out of the limelight place but absolutely wonderful in every aspect. The service is top shelf from the owner and the food is always extraordinary. It's an excellent family run business that you won't want to miss out on.

We stopped in here while staying at a local hotel and did not know what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised. The owner had several recommendations and they were excellent. The menu is small but varied, cooked to perfection. Wine list was affordable. Dinner for three with a nice wine was $60. If we are ever in the area, we... More

After two days on the road from Ft Lauderdale, Fl, we discovered Vita Felice thru Tripadvisor. The Owner Alexandro, personally attended to our dining with charm and wonderful food advise. The setting is quietly understated elegance. The food was clearly fresh, handcrafted, perfectly prepared and presented. My order was Eggplant Parmesan. I was delighted at the extraordinary fresh flavors and... More

I will start with saying from the minute we walked thru the door our experience at this restaurant was such a pleasant experience. We were staying at a Hampton Inn nearby, most restaurants in the area are fast food chains. We wanted an Italian meal but not from a chain. The owner greeted us and made us feel welcome and... More

This was a find for us within 1/2 mile from the Hampton Inn (Market St). It's in a older strip mall near a Food Lion and we were pleasantly surprised. The food was great and reasonably priced, and we intend to stop again if we revisit the area.

Very nicely done Italian dishes. The sauces are scratch-made and are clearly fresh. One diner said it was like having your grandmother do the cooking. Actually the Italian chef isn't your grandmother, but he's very good. I wish the pasta had been more toward al dente, but that's a quibble in a very nice meal.

Our neighbors invited us to join them for New Year's Eve dinner at Vita Felice. It is the second time we have gone with them. The first time (several years ago) was not memorable. However, the food last night was excellent. My husband and I both had the Insalata Al Amore with Salmon. The salad was fresh and the salmon... More

Recommended by the staff at the Hampton Inn, Vita Felice had just what we needed after a long difficult drive, stuck in traffic on I95 south of DC. Home-cooking. We tried the gnocchi and the penne arabiata. Salads were fresh and tasty. Good montepulciano wine. An enjoyable experience. One of the few local restaurants in an area dominated by chains.
