Yum!

We went for Fredericksburg restaurant week and it was very good. The bread you get to start is dense and has a lightly salted crust. I had the stuffed quail which was amazing! My boyfriend had the smoked brisket over ratatouille and it was a small portion but very good.

Consistently good food and service. A restaurant week winner each time. Try the shrimp n grits, hangar steak, obscure wines and enjoy.

This is our fourth time over the course of six years. It has been consistent and continue to offer innovative but relatively simple dishes. Wine list is decent. By the way, consistency is achieved here not across dishes but across quality / time (food for thought ;-)). Hope to enjoy this place in years to come on my next visits.... More

My husband was very happy with his brunch order. Me less so. People around me seemed happy with theirs. My very nice avocado with lump crabmeat was served with the salad of pea shoots mounded on top. The dressing was miniscule, but there was a lemon wedge to squeeze. The pea shoots were awkward to eat with long tails of... More

Went here with a large group of friends for a birthday. I made reservations at 8. The staff was polite and the atmosphere and décor was lovely. However, we did not get our food for over an hour. When it did come it was a disappointment for the price. I think this may be a nice place to go for... More

My, my, my! This was a wonderful evening at Bistro Berhem. We ordered the pork ribs, steak entry and cream of corn with shitake and ohhhhh boy! It was to die for. Unfortunately, we also ordered the in house queso and chips. I found the chips to be too greasy. My partner ordered a citrus beer and I ordered a... More

We've been to the Bistro before and always enjoyed our dinner. Our most recent dinner there was nothing short of horrible. The once wonderful burrata with tomatoes was a gooey pancetta mess. The dish was ruined. On top of that, the pancetta rind was so hard that it almost broke our teeth. The crab cake was only mediocre and the... More

the atmosphere was so nice open atmosphere and romantic as well as casually chic! the restaurant opens up to the outside sidewalk and it was actually a cooler summer day so it was perfect temperature! The cocktails are unique and high quality and the food was amazing!!

I've enjoyed brunch, lunch, and dinner at Bistro Bethem many times. The food is fabulous and their cocktails are creative and refreshing. They never fail to impress me with their constantly changing menu. They offer the freshest (and local) ingredients. My favorites are their Sunday night 1/2 price bottles of wine, avocado and crab appetizer, salmon and gnudi main, roasted... More

We had planned to eat at the French restaurant next door, but found out that they were closed on Sunday evenings. So, we dropped by Bistro Bethem and made reservations for that evening. We were not disappointed! Everything was quite good--my husband had the salmon and I had the shrimp and polenta. Our waitress was very helpful to me as... More
