Vegetarian with out thinking about it. Lots of beer choices and a family feel. Bring your dog and sit outside. A true Fredericksburg institution. Without being an institution.

The last time I was there with several friends, the waiter and the manager were rude. I have not been back since.

I don't usually return to a local restaurant over and over. But the Camper's Special and the falafel here can't be beat. The portions are so large, that I always get to bring some home for another meal. Only downside to the whole experience is the dark interior and the crowded uncomfortable seating of the booths which is the primary... More

Sammy T's is a very casual and laid back restaurant and the menu is quite varietal from vegan to real meat hamburgers. The place gets packed and a bit noisy, but never out of hand. Sammy T's has been here a long time (was here back in the 80's when I lived here) and delivers good quality food with very... More

You know the sign of a good restaurant by how crowded it gets, especially on a Saturday. We ate here at the recommendation of our trolley tour driver since he mentioned it had abundant vegetarian options. He was right! There were lots of options and with a side of their delicious onion rings, we were good to go! I'm not... More

This place has been one of my faves for years...ever since I first discovered it. The burgers are great, the fries (both regular and sweet potato) are fantastic, but one of the best things about Sammy T's is that there is something for everyone. You can take your vegetarian/vegan friends to this old town restaurant and be fully confident that... More

Our group enjoyed our experience at Sammy T's. It's conveniently located to shops on Caroline Street and worth a visit. The food is good enough though not great, with portions on the largish size. My fried oysters were overcooked, with a few close to being burned. Service is friendly, but a bit disorganized and a little slow. However, the server... More

The black bean nachos were tasty and huge. We got a half portion and the 2 of us had some left over. My wife got the chicken salad pita and I got the hamburger. Both were excellent. It was busy but the service was excellent.

We met a friend for lunch at this downtown Fredericksburg diner. The restaurant is very casual, the waitstaff is laid back, and the menu is quite large from vegan to mouth watering burgers. Although somewhat noisy, a conversation can easily be held It has been here a long time and delivers good quality food with very good service. The booths... More

I loved this restaurant! The server's recommendations were great! The food was delicious and I loved the atmosphere of the place. Casual, quirky, yet sophisticated. I would love to come back the next time I'm in town!
