very nice atmosphere, good professional waiter, linen (!) tablecloth and 4 of 5 star food. only negative was the "special" malbec as it was too too dry.

I have just returned from my fourth trip the USA & a few friends & I enjoyed a fabulous meal at Le Petite Auberge on the last night of my holiday. The food did not disappoint & was certainly one of my better US eating out experiences. By US standards, the prices were not expensive given that it was fine... More

We were looking for something a bit upmarket and the Petite Auberge fitted the bill. The food was excellent (a lot to choose from) , service great and the atmosphere really buzzed. And it was packed, which is always a good sign.

This was our final meal of a four day foray in Fredericksburg and it turned out to be the best. First, our wait staff, Emily, was most gracious and attentive. Thought I was back in the French country side. We were too early for a full lunch, so the two ladies ordered omelets, both were very good. I tried my... More

It wasn't until this year that we adventured out to try LaPetite Auberge. In my opinion I always thought it struck me as being an expensive place to dine. I hope others don't have that kind of an opinion because I was certainly fooled. What I like about this place is waiters and waitresses in black and white always bring... More

My wife and I visited for the first time and we were excited. New place and looked very nice so we were happy about that. Seemed like a pretty "usual" crowd that visited there... we were dressed nicely... not overly flashy or anything... kind of fit the atmosphere. .. I'll say we were definitely "noticed" from the time we entered... More

Dinner on a Saturday evening with a fellow "foodie." Nearby Bistro Betham has proven to be quite noisy and the food is "iffy" at times so we decided to try this place. The ambiance was nice. A decent size crowd but not too noisy. We started with an appetizer of fried oysters and the were very tasty and cooked perfectly.... More

We were able to get a reservation rather easily on a Saturday night and had a lovely birthday dinner. The decor in the back dining room was clean and modern. Looked like it had been recently decorated? I had the yellow snapper, and my husband had the short ribs. We had heard from someone to ask what entrees were still... More

We eat here several times a year, and have never had a meal that let us down. Everybody is friendly and helpful. Love the lamb. Enjoy bringing friends from out of town. Parking can be a pain, but usually find a space within a block or so.
