Friendly, Delicious Food

You can't tell much from the outside going in what it's all about as it's an old church, and when you walk in, you walk into a foyer and then go through another set of doors, and there are no windows to see inside for a peek; but, when you walk in, the ceiling height and windows make it a... read more

The bakery is in an old church. Very different venue. They have a lovely courtyard if the weather is nice. Everything is prepared in a case. You browse and pick out your sandwich or salad. I felt prices were a little high. I had a Cuban sandwich and a diet soda. I think my bill was about $14. Thought that... More

Even duing Restaurant Week. We had their $10.15 offering of soup, salad, drink and dessert. Although the split pea/ham soup was a little salty, overall the entire meal was well-prepared and good-tasting. This is a great spot to go for breakfast or lunch with a lot of variety in their offerings.

This is a great place for a really good breakfast, brunch or lunch. The food is delicious. You order in a line and hopefully someone is in front of you so you can take your time reviewing all the options. It is a little too expensive to go there with regularity but for the occassional treat, it really can't be... More

I stopped in to get a sandwich on a recommendation and was very underwhelmed. The staff acted like they didn't want to be there and acted like they were frustrated that I asked questions. I have a few food allergies so I ask questions. I wanted to build my own sandwich but was informed that service was done for the... More

I am a local who enjoys Eileens but in the interests of "equal time" I will list my opinion and that of one of my friends. I like standing in line for the food, the variety of tasty casual sandwiches and dishes they offer, and sitting outside in their backyard when the weather is pleasant. When I have to sit... More

Eileen's Bakery and Café has soups, sandwiches, wraps, and desserts, and you can get sandwiches grilled. They also have a build your own sandwich option, which worked well for me. We had chile corn chowder and a half sandwich for lunch. Hubby liked his buffalo chicken wrap--we were trying to figure out the flavors, something slightly nutty we thought, it... More

I haven't been in a year or so, but I enjoyed having lunch at Eileen's and plan to go back. Fresh-made sandwiches, soups and other tasty items are served in a converted (no pun!) church house that is decorated in a quaint fashion. Some items have a gourmet flair. Price is reasonable.

Really good food but disappointed they cut off their WiFi and even blocked off the electric outlets so I don't go here anymore. I used to bring clients for meetings 2 to 3 times per week and but can't do it without WiFi - for the $20 bucks a month they saved on power and WiFi they lost about $200/month... More

Recently took my daughter here for lunch and met my mother. We thought the food was quite good. Mom had two salads (green and cauliflower), which she said were quite tasty. My turkey sandwich was very good. The shortbread we ate for dessert was excellent! We sat inside...the few tables outside were occupied. The only thing I felt was a... More
