Nice lunch

The service was good. Nice atmosphere with an outdoor patio. Food came in an appropriate amount of time. It was a nice place for lunch. The chocolate silk pie was very tasty and only lasted about 3 minutes once it arrived at the table.

Delicious and cozy no matter what the season, Amy's is the local hangout of choice for the region including senior members of the VA House of Reps. Tucked just under busy Rt 1, the outdoor seating manages to be peaceful with a nice breeze off the nearby Rappahannock River. The entire menu is great but a personal preference is the... More

Check this place out, it's a good locally owned choice. It's on the North side of the Rappahannock River, so take exit on Rte 17 heading East to Falmouth.

We came here for the Father's Day Buffet. The food was good, but nothing was exceptional other than the berry cobbler...and that was amazing. The rest of it was okay, not very hot, but there was a good selection to choose from. The price was pretty high ($25) in my book for a brunch.

Overpriced for portion size. Draft beer overpriced for happy hour. We have been wanting to stop here because it looked like a nice local spot but wasn't very impressed. Would maybe give breakfast a try.

This delightful "cafe" is tucked away in an old, old (probably 19th century) building next to a tight bend along River Road on the North side of the Rappahannock River. We elected to dine in the outdoor portion. It is covered with a screen with flower box borders. The food was delicious. Our waiter, Christopher, provided straight up, friendly service,... More

The servers were yelling back and for and it was horrible. So unnecessary to have that much noise when folks are paying to dine out and enjoy. Chris, our server was excellent. Apologized for all the noise. We will probably not be back and that is sad. When you are sitting at a table for two and you cannot hear... More

This is a great place to start your day. Sit on the patio and enjoy your breakfast with mimosas or bloody Mary's. Very friendly staff

We love Amy's. It is a quaint little restaurant on the river's edge. We have visited Amy's many times and have never had a bad meal. I try to order something different each time. Breakfast is outstanding and very well priced. Dinner is just as good and offers a variety of items. I believe they do have live entertainment on... More

Amy's has had some ups and downs over the years but recently seem to have gotten their act together. I enjoy going there for a sandwich or light meal. I have occasionally taken business guests there for lunch as well. Their menu has a good line of sandwiches. I usually stick with the Club, which is large and tasty. My... More
