Beautiful food, great ingredients, fresh, healthy, and fun environment. Enjoy the owner's company and try the spicy pork or ox tail soup. You can't go wrong.

I did not expect to find Korean food that matched the experiences I had in Korea anywhere in Fredericksburg, VA (short of maybe someone's home). This is what Choi's has done, allowed me to enter the kitchen of any Korean home cook... only better. From the moment you enter you are welcomed into the restaurant. It is pleasant enough inside... This place is a hidden gem. Who'd thunk a strip mall joint could serve such authentic Korean food. The yardstick in Korean food is squid and kalbi, two toughest dishes to cook just right. This place has the best squid. Squid is very finicky to cook, its very easy to under cook it, then it becomes chewy and rubbery, and... More

It is worth the trip especially if you don't want to go up north for your korean food fix. I come here all the time when I want great korean food.

Let me say that we are pretty familiar with Korean food so this place was a disappointment. If you know nothing about Korean food, you can go there and have so-so meal. The problem with ethnic restaurants in smaller towns is that the owners must cater to a more parochial clientele. Food is made more salty, less spicy, etc., etc.... More

The food was pretty terrible and I was sad because the folks who work and run this place are super nice. I almost feel bad to report that the food is not good - the meat was all fat and it did not have a great taste. Will not be returning. Sorry

Choi's serves up a large variety of Korean dishes. All meals come with their made fresh kimchee. My favorite is the dol sot bi bim bop, try it and see for yourself.

I ordered Kimbab and I do not see any vegetable and most of them are rice. Compare to the quality it is very pricy.

We read the trip advisor reports and decided to try something different. The waitress Ashley was very nice and helpful. I ordered the Kimchee soup - very good! and the Pork chef special was also very good with nice spices. Plenty to eat and we really enjoyed the mango sorbet and the ginger honey tea! I will definitely go back... More
