I used to live about 6 minutes away (walking) form Clear Flour. This was a regular Sat/Sun morning ritual for me and a friend or boyfriend or anyone visiting in town. For two people we would always get three items and split all of them. The croissants are as close as you can get to Parisian croissants anywhere I have... More

Luckily my daughter now lives less than a mile from here. Took a brisk walk and the reward was worth it as always. I bought some kind of bread with olive oil and pumpkin seeds. Worth a stop if you are in the area. And not overpriced either.

A friend brought over a box of pastries from here and we were blown away with ever treat. The chocolate cakes and a tart with a bit of raspberry were exceptional. Never had a macaroon like that before (plain or chocolate). The pastry crusts were flaky and buttery. Every piece was perfect, not overdone in any way. Cannot wait to... More

They make these canneles. Not sure what ingredient they put in it, but be forewarned. It doesn't matter how many you buy, you'll be hard pressed to get home with anything beyond a few crumbs left. Everything is fantastic, this is what a bakery is supposed to be.

Friendly staff. Crunchy crusts, intense pastries, great pizza dough. Just awesome. We go at least twice a week.

One-stop shop for a taste of Europe, Paris and beyond. Baked goods vary by the day ... and no day would disappoint. One can see their passion. They're all white as flour from spending so much time baking such wonderous treats. Merci !

A true European experience, in Brookline. Authentic, excellent breads. On holidays, expect a LONG line well before the door opens, but for the rest of the year just come into this corner shop and walk out with perfect bread. Everything is made here. Did I mention that it is perfect? I've traveled all over the world. This would be a... More

This bakery is hard to find, but the ones who know of it are frequent visitors. They have a unique selection of breads and treats that changes daily and for seasons. Not only do the products taste good, but they look beautiful! Stop over.

We went here to pick up bread for a special dinner we were having that night. While in the store picking up rolls for the meal, I saw the cookies and bought some. They were totally the best cookies I have ever eaten and I love molasses cookies. The speciality breads are delicious, baked fresh and worth the trip to... More

this tiny shop--ovens in rear--sells the best bread in New England. On a residential street very close to the Kennedy Site (learn first, eat later). Great variety of breads/rolls/pastries--beautiful to see, glorious to eat. Sunday lines are very long; mid-week, mid-day you'll get quick service. Tho many recipes are French, the Italian olive sandwich breads (mid-size, crusty) and sun-dried tomato... More
