Incredible food, ridiculous beer selection. Service has been spotty at times, but I still love it. Not to be missed!

I went to Publick House with my wife and daughter about two weeks ago and walked away happy. The menu only has about 20 things to choose from but they all seemed fantastic, I ended up getting the special that day (pan roasted Arctic Char) while my wife got the Brendoni sandwich. Both were truly outstanding and I'd recommend either... More

I would not go back- many better options in Washington Square. The food is OK, the atmosphere is loud.

Long known for the incredible range of beers it has on draft (plus untold bottles),the Publick House also does a stellar job of preparing pub food (cooked with beer!) The results are terrific, prices beyond fair...and the only two concerns I ever have are that at peak times, the wait can be impressive...and it can be noisy. Deal with those... More

The place is a very place to drink some good beers, there is a large choice. The food is good too. The place has a very good ambiance. To advise!

Went out to dinner after work with a couple girlfriends. We had all heard great things about The Publick House so wanted to give it a try. The food was delicious, from mac&cheese with prosciutto, mushrooms and asparagus to their chicken sandwich, everything was fantastic. Their drink menu is 3X the size of their food menu and the only think... More

It almost feel like you are sitting outside on a patio when close to the open windows in the summer time. Good selection of beer, nice long wooden tables for a friendly atmosphere. Interesting menu, with good food despite the variety.

Had a nice meal with friends during a business trip, and what a beer selection! In Washington Square, and right off the T, you can combine a good meal with a wide choice of beers, and even catch a game if you're near the bar.

The only reason I like going to this place is for the beer but, unfortunately, the service is miserable. The bartenders are incredibly rude and fairly judgmental.

Met a good friend of mine here for a drink last week. It was very crowded, but we still managed to find a table. Over a few rounds we had a good time. Everybody else seemed to have fun. The bartender was playing Social Distortion, which made it a little cooler for me. I would go again. I did not... More
