A really good neighbourhood restaurant with a small but interesting menu (quite heavy on fish but not exclusively) and excellent service. The salmon was excellent and there was a reasonable selection of wines available by the glass and half bottle as well. Not cheap but not unreasonable.I believe it is only open in the evenings

My wife and I went here for dinner last night. The restaurant is definitely attractive but can also be noisy. Do not be seated on the side of the restaurant where the bar is located. We split a very tasty arugula salad, my wife had the hake and I had the flat iron steak. All the dishes were prepared and... More

Enjoyed a delicious dinner here with friends and family. The beet salad was good. I split the sea bass and chicken with another person and they did a good job plating the split portions, which were generous. We liked the fish more than the chicken. The vegetables were especially delicious. Would recommend.

Everything we had was amazing including the wine (a nice wine list). This is an expensive place so good for a date night or special occasion. It definitely lives up to its family feel as everyone is friendly and service is great. The lobster tacos and scallops were amazing.

Lineage has an attractive restaurant interior, and an appealing menu. The portions were somewhat small, at least not generous, and the quality of the food was fine but not gourmet.

I can heartily recommend this charming small restaurant in Brookline. We were greeted by a hostess with a big smile and seated right away. How wonderful to be greeted warmly. The menu was limited but it was clear that it was prepared very carefully. It changes daily. We both started with the cream of mushroom soup. It was beautifully prepared... More

We had grilled Solomon with homemade French fries. The fish was cooked just right but my husband thought it was a bit salty. Overall the meal was very delicious. The dish comes with rice and we asked to substitute with French fries and were very happy. It was good! Next visit in Boston, we will go again and ask to... More

My husband and I and another couple (great aunt/uncle) went to Lineage last week for a celebratory dinner. We had a great experience. The place was very busy for a Tuesday night, but we'd made reservations and got the window seat at the very front of the restaurant! My husband and I got the seafood tasting menu + wine pairing:... I went to Lineage with my family for Easter brunch. The options were very limited. My daughter ordered a hamburger and was told it would take 30 minutes to cook it which I thought was a lot of time. The breakfast breads were excellent. We ordered a 2nd as we had to wait for a while. The eggs Benedict had... More
