Best Restaurant in Brookline

The best place to enjoy a nice, peaceful dinner with spectacular service and fantabulous food! The food was so good. We ordered the arugula salad with feta cheese, and cucumbers. So fresh and delicious! You can tell its farm to fork. And then comes out our delicious entrée. A big, juicy burger... read more

I have been to Lineage about 4-5 times, usually for special occasions, which it is perfect for. The food is absolutely fantastic. They also have a marvelous house burger, great for sitting at the bar which has a nice beer selection, and awesome mixed drinks.

Lineage has been "on my list" - have read great things about it since it opened 9+ years ago. We were not disappointed. We are seafood lovers and were tempted by the tasting menu. Instead, we opted for Lobster tacos & oyster appetizers and salmon & striped bass entrees. Excellent all around. Wonderful fresh ingredients from local farms. Creative "summery"... More

Don't miss this place. We had the lobster tacos for appetizer which were excellent and our party had salmon n burgers. Overall very fresh food here in a nice setting that wasn't too loud at all. Smaller menu with great choices and overall goods service. Had a good dink menu too. Worth the travel from Boston. No room for dessert... More

The food is actually quite well prepared but the ambience is a bit too loud/noisy for me and my guests. We were there at around 6:00 PM on a week night. The service was competent but slow. If you are in the Coolidge Corner area of Brookline and want some place that is good but not necessarily great, this is... More

My husband and I have eaten at Lineage several times and never have experienced a bad meal, service or beverage. They do change their menu but always have fresh fish which is done perfectly. Their appetizers are original and the only problem is making a decision as to what to order but do save room for dessert.

We were meeting my son-in-law for dinner, and he was staying at the Marriott Courtyard in Brookline, which was extremely convenient for both of us. Open Table said the only spot was for 8:45, which was going to be a bit late, since he had spent the entire day flying into Logan. A quick phone call confirmed a reservation for... More
