Lovely, modern restaurant and bar with great and creative food. The service also was friendly and professional. Ask for Bradley and particularly if you are a tea lover, ask him about his passion. The lobster tacos were a hit with both of us. My wife had the scallop main, and I had the parparadelle with sausage. Both excellent. Wine selection... More

This venerable Coolidge Corner seafood restaurant seems to fly under the radar of the Boston foodie scene, but deserves to be in the top 10. Fresh and delicious seafood, with a calm and romantic atmosphere, served by pleasant and efficient, but not intrusive, waitstaff. The three course tasting menu is a delight and a bargain. Did I mention the excellent... More

This is an attractive, friendly restaurant. We called on a Friday evening at 6:00 from the nearby Courtyard Hotel where we were staying. We were told that they were booked until late in the evening. But, they said that they would accommodate us if we came right over. Excellent customer service!. One of us ordered a radish salad that had... More

The lineage was recommended by the Inn we were staying. We were pleased. We ate in the pub side. Service was good. the food was also good with a very nice presentation. We were pleased with the choice.

We met a friend here late afternoon for dinner. The service was exceptional, and the restaurant was clean and inviting (even in the daylight)! We had oysters (amazing), potato/leek soup, and calamari for appetizers. The soup was very good, as well. We ordered the sea bass (I noticed our friend was kind of picking through it), and the lobster brioche... More

always has plenty of fish, well prepared. Nice wine list with good range of prices and good value as well. Quiet enough to be able to have a comfortable conversation over a meal, without shouting, without hearing the other conversations in the room.

I made dinner reservations for a Wednesday night @ 7 pm via Open Table. I requested that they seat us in a more secluded table as it was my boyfriend’s birthday dinner. We arrive around 6:40 and sat at the bar to take advantage of the $1 from 5-7 pm. We tried a sample of a bubbling wine and red... More

Enjoyed my meal at Lineage quite a bit. The bluefish was outstanding! Make sure your credit card has plenty of room on it as you will need it but if you want to live large in Brookline this is the place to go.
