This place deserves its good reviews. The food is good and relatively inexpensive. There are only a few benches for seating, so you can eat in, but it's also good for getting some quick lasagne or a panini to go.

What a great find! The food Is authentically Italian. We went on Sunday not knowing there is Sun and Wed special. The selections on the menu are few but we all had something different and nobody was disappointed. If you're looking for fancy tables, a decor of some sort or a server to come to you, it won't happen here... More

Great pastas and the service is great. They cook all of the pastas to order, so you know its fresh and you can change what you want in it. Great place and reasonable!

We arrived in Boston during rush hour and were hungry and tired by the time we reached our hotel. We just wanted to eat dinner quickly, and avoid a chain. We found this place, within walking distance of the Courtyard in Brookline and were so happy we did. The food was terrific and we were so happy not to have to... More

I love this little place. They offer delicious food for a reasonable price. Portion sizes are not too big and bot too small. Staff is friendly and food is ready quickly. There is a limited amount of seating inside(communal picnic tables) so it is great for a quick bite or for take out. They also sell a variety of products... More

Although this restaurant probably sells more take-out than dine-in (there's a large picnic table and some wall counter space to dine in and you order and take your food to your seat), I ordered Penne Arrabbiata (spicy tomato sauce with garlic) and a salad that the proprietor gladly added items to (green olives, black olives, mushrooms, artichoke hearts) and touched... I saw the reviews and was so grateful I found this little neighborhood restaurant! I wish they were in my hometown! Quick service and absolutely delicious. And the price, what a deal! What more can I say! While this isn't a sit down restaurant (you go up and order and then sit at either the window seating or the communal... More

A tiny cafe with a communcal table - it's size might be offputting but don't get fooled into thinking this is just another red-checkered table cloth "Italian american" place. This is the real deal - authentic, super quality plates of pasta. Homemade sauces that are really startlingly good.

I like coming here once in awhile when I want a quick and cheap bite. Bottega has a special where on Wednesdays & Sundays, their pastas are $4.99. Not bad! So because of that, I like to come here only on those days. When you come in, it's a small place that looks more like a takeout type of place,... More

I still cant believe how amazing and authentic this Italian food is. Not only you get to eat very fresh and delicious food, but you will be surprised by the bill. I had crab and shrimp tortellini with fresh mozzarella, tomato and basil sauce. my plate costed me $7.95 We will be going back for lunch tomorrow again. You have... More
