Fast service, local flavor, good food. The waitress was super friendly and our egg salad and club sandwiches were fresh and tasty.

If you crave filet of sole this is the place. Friday only for about 10 bucks you will have two of the freshest sole filets you can find anywhere and deep fried to perfection. Don't let the front deter you. Go inside for the food. When I fly to Boston from Florida I always aim for Friday and the Busy... More

A great trip and good food. My burger was hot and the fries phenomenal. Cash only but ATMs are nearby.

If you like diners, and even if you don't, the Busy Bee Restaurant in Brookline, just a block from the Boston line and a short walk from Kenmore Square, is a favorite with locals. This is all-American food, with a touch of Greek, at fabulous prices. The servings are more than ample and daily specials would satisfy any trucker. Favorites:... More

Had a breakfast and one of the daily specials here, whilst staying in nearby Brookline. Great food, great people and made to feel so welcome during our visit from the UK. Full of local people during both of our visits and had a real community atmosphere.

Fall back in love with all your breakfast and diner favorites, simple food as you remember it growing up as a kid. Never had a bad meal, def could be considered very hipster.

Old style little cafe with counter stools and small booths. Modest wait on Saturday mid-morning but worth it. Food is prepared well and served quickly. The staff is part of the atmosphere...don't aggravate them!

I had the best moussaka ever, and the surly waitresses weren't really! Now the owner, well that is another story, but kitschy is the best way to describe with fondness what I would say is an experience not to be missed. The food is so good and really worth going to as this is a venerable Boston institution! Who knew!

Our son discovered the Bee many years ago. It is now a must stop on every visit to Boston. The Blueberry Pancakes remain my favorite thing on the menu. It's always busy and sometimes crowded but the experience makes it worth a short wait.
