We had two meals from/at Rubin's. We ordered Shabbat dinner from Rubin's and it was delicious. We ordered the JD Brisket, Zucchini and Squash and Mashed Potatoes. Everything was amazingly delicious and the quantities were very generous! We also went to Rubin's for breakfast one morning and had the chance to enjoy the rest of their menu. Delicious meat!

Great small deli. No counter seating, only tables. Recommend the "overstuffed" size sandwiches for $18. Ha! Beer served as well, bonus!

Very good place. Portions are big, not too expensive, food is good. Try thd hot dogs-they're not the cheap rubber but the real stuff.

I grew up eating at Rubin's and continue to love it to this day. Some of the staff have been there since I was a kid. It is kosher and therefore there is nothing dairy in the restaurant, but that doesn't detract from the food. Their burgers are amazing and so are the deli sandwiches. If you stick with good... More

Coming from NY, the best way to rate this place would be between Mr. Broadway and KD. If you are looking for a quick Kosher bitre, this would be a good solution.

Rubin's is the place to go if you want excellent kosher food. from chopped liver, to noodle pudding, to extra lean corned beef and everything in between Rubin's has it. the food is daily made, the staff friendly and the restaurant clean. if you are in the Brookline area it is worth your while to stop in at Rubin's.

This place gets a lot of press so we had to visit. The staff were really nice, the interior suitably "retro" and the range of sandwiches was tempting. I ordered an "overstuffed" Gramercy Park (pastrami, corned beef, slaw and russian) which was really tasty and had great flavour. But.....................it cost almost 20 dollars and really was not as big and... More

Had: chicken noodle soup, Reuben, chopped liver, pastrami, house salad. Soup was greasy and tasteless. No cheese on anything as is a kosher deli...our bad. Marbled rye on chopped liver: bread was boring w no rye taste, liver was waaayy too sweet. I'm a savory so that may be good to some but was "yuck" for me. Friends said their... More

Has the right ambiance but this place doesn't come close to really good deli food. Unless this is what counts for really good deli in New England.
