Between the amazing bar, countless and well selected beer and wine menu and the innovative food, nothing beats the Washington Sq. Tavern. It's just a fun and relaxed place to enjoy a great meal. Plan on a long wait on Weekends and if you can grab a spot at the bar, enjoy their wonderful appetizers with your drink.

Others recommended this nice neighborhood (not the Applebee's chain type) restaurant. Right on the corner in an affluent Boston suburb, can eat outside (when we visited, rainy and 40F.) Old style bar area, quaint table area - a bit tight, probably not best for large parties. My daughter and I both had the pan-seared sea scallops, expertly prepared, and probably... More

Was here in March 2013 for a special occasion and the Washington Square Tavern is might good at turning out the best of food and drink in a local setting. Nice prices too, just right.

Washington Square Tavern is a great example of how a bar should be run. Specials are really interesting like roasted Bone Marrow and lots and lots of unusual things

While lots of other customers seem to come here for the great food, I am a devoted fan of their exceptional selection of wine and imported beers, Hard to beat Washington Square Tavern for good wines beers or food and they look after you very well too!
