Don't come for the atmosphere, come for the felafel

I've been going to Rami's for about twenty years now. It's a storefront felafel joint in Coolidge Corner, Brookline, Massachusetts. The felafel they serve is always freshly fried, crispy and light. An added bonus is their pita bread, which as good as any I've ever had. (They say they fly it in... read more

Everything about this place is amazing! The Pita and Shawarma are both fresh and taste amazing. I usually get the chicken or turkey shawrma pita and I have to say I've never had such good hummus in my life. The pita is filling and the mango Israeli nectar/soda is a delish...I can't wait to come back.

Very authentic felafel plus small restaurant popular with locals. Try the felafel plate. No sit down service but place order and then grab a table if you can. Basically fast food with personality.

Good falafel and shawarma restaurant restaurant. Everything is fresh. Space is a little on the small side, so take-out is probably better.

Any excuse to head down Harvard street I'm there! The falafel is so good, that when it's summer and j have an appointment in town, friends will put their orders in and they are waiting at my home. We've made a party of it. The pita is freshly made - the falafel go so fast, they are made to order... More

Falafel too salty, the dressing (sauce?) on vegetables tasteless, the hummus- a major disappointment- pasty, heavy, bland. Not for the true hummus connoisseur that's for darned sure. A little bit of fresh herbal fragrance goes a long way. Try a little lemon, even. Oh well. But, the beef cigarettes were very good and the pita bread seemed nice enough. Still,... More

I went here for a Falafel and as usual it was the best around. All the ingredients are fresh and the pita ball is fresh made. Most people love all of their other food. It is counter service. My Falafel set me back $8.50. Pretty reasonable by today's standards.

We came here since my sister in law told us they have great hummus. Unfortunately I have to disagree – the taste is far from being good. We never came back again

We spent our time in Brookline really enjoying the kosher restaurants (that we don't have in Seattle). Rami's was truly a winner and we will definitely be returning. Everything was good, but the felafel was above and beyond, with delicious flavors and fried goodness! It was a treat. The staff was friendly and quick too.

Others reviews will tell you what you can get here. Food was great, place was clean and today and you were left alone. Spot on for a bite to eat late when a massive meal would have been wasted.
