Small space, big taste.

After hearing much about La Morra, we finally tried it. Though on time, the staff had some trouble getting us a table. The only drawback -- I will say upfront -- is the crowded nature of the tables, and limited space, one of those situations where you find yourself walking sideways a lot and asking... read more

Excellent food. Great atmosphere. A real treat for a night out. The food choices are always interesting and thoughtfully presented, the service very attentive and setting conducive to both tête à tête dining as well as groups. The bar is always a great choice as well.

My daughter discovered La Morra ~ 3 years ago and we have dined there every 2-3 months since. Last night we celebrated her graduation from Northeastern University, and sadly we won't be here as often. :( This time we were joined by my wife and older daughter and La Morra did not disappoint. The Tagliatelle with Bolonese sauce is to... More

I had dinner here with a colleague on a Wednesday night. We were looking for Italian near the Longwood area. This place was easy to find and although it appeared to be a very busy night, there was not a long wait for a table. There were a few different menus and I lvoed that you could mix and match... Food is excellent, service unhurried yet attentive, extensive wine selection. We dined form their winter menu; would love to experience the other seasons as well. They also were accommodating and shared their recipe for Ribollita. BTW, don't sweat the parking: yes it's mostly "on street" and yes it's Rt. 9 but there were plenty of spaces. I understand they also... More

The food at La Morra is consistently excellent. The menu varies with season and the chef usually has a few specials on the menu. I particularly enjoy the arancini appetizer and the pasta Bolognese. My favorite spot is at the bar with Bernie, a superb and personable bartender. Bernie really knows how to provide service and it is clear that... More

A friend and I went during restaurant week for a delightful 4 course meal. It was superb...every course distinctly different than the one before. Can't wait to go back again!

Dinner reservations on another snowy night in Boston. So glad we made it. Although I understand there was an article written (Admittedly, I didn't see it) quoting Tom Brady of the Patriots saying that the bolognese was his favorite, I'm afraid he got it wrong. Sorry Tom. Yes, the bolognese was good, but the Gnocci was so much better. In... More

My honey made reservations for Valentines Day taking advantage of their special menu.We arrived 15 minutes early for our reservation. The hostess let us know our table would be ready in 15 minutes, handed us a wine list and cocktail menu, and showed us upstairs to a comfortable waiting area. I don't know why she gave us the drnk menus... More
