While the food was good, the service took a little longer than I'd like. At the end of the meal, the manager came over to us and asked us what his waitress did wrong to not recieve a large tip. I had made a reservation online through Opentable.com, however when we arrived they had no record of the reservation so we had to wait. I think it's better to go for lunch because prices tend to be very high for dinner - a bit overpriced for the overall experience. The freshly baked rolls are among the best I've had. Bartenders are generally very knowledgeable and drinks are always great. more

I've been to the Fireplace half a dozen times but last night the occassion was a birthday celebration. We all had special order requests with "this and that" on the side and the waitress was patient and excellent. My husband and I went to the Fireplace for Sunday brunch. There was a line at the door, however we went up to the hostess station and asked how long the wait would be and were pleasantly surprised that she seated us right away.
