I love sushi. I really love sushi. Osaka does not have great sushi. It is fine, but not exceptional. Don't think that just because Boston is known for seafood, you should try it here. There is Krab, which we all know is not crab. The rolls are expensive. The food does not match the price. If this were a cheap... More

Classic language barrier. Not a bad place, but we were looking for a ramen/Japanese noodle place. As soon as we walked in we asked the host of there where noodles available at the restaurant (hibachi style). The host told use there where noodles available. We sat down. Ordered drinks. SURPRISE! No ramen. We can attribute this to a miscommunication, but... More

Osaka is a favorite for my girlfriend and I to frequent on dates. Excellent service with typical hibachi food. A must visit if you're around Cleavland Circle

On a busy Sunday we were looking for a good brunch spot and Osaka had plenty of room; the fact that it is on a side street may have helped us as far as foot traffic goes. However it is a popular neighborhood place as we have evidenced in a prior visit. We chose to bypass the hibachi area and... More

Visited for a graduation party. We were seated promptly. Had the 2 person Hibachi special - chicken, steak, lobster tail, shrimp, and scallops. Food was quite tasty, especially the scallops. Hibachi chef very entertaining. I have seen some bad reviews about service, so we were a little worried. Maybe the fact that we were there on a Monday night, rather... More

Osaka consistently plates their sushi beautiful. It is delicious and fresh and the upscale yet relaxed atmosphere inside is very pleasing. The wait staff is attentive and helpful. I love Osaka and their Toro roll is delicious as is their Truffle Salmon appetizer. Price is reasonable for how great their sushi is.

I made a reservation after I read positive reviews from tripadvisor. I visited with my wife and two teens and we were very disappointed. The restaurant's decoration appears tired, even the hibachi grill ovens appear worn down. Staff were not very attentive and were a little short at times. Food appeared fresh, however, taste once cooked was less than average.... More

Nice atmosphere, excellent food, outstanding sushi. The room with the hibachi tables can get quite noisy but the chefs put on a good show, very entertaining for children, excellent food. But we go there regularly for the great sushi. We're there at least once a week. Try the tuna dumplings -- in spite of the name it is like sushi.
