Since moving to Brookline we've eaten sushi here at least 6 times (have never eaten in the hibachi room, however). Their sushi and special rolls menu is a bit overwhelming, but the food always tastes perfectly fresh and is well-prepared, irrespective of how busy they are (can get very busy/noisy on weekend evenings). Service is quite impersonal and could definitely... More

I Came here only once at the suggestion of my friends. The food and service were ok. It is one of the more expensive Japanese places in Brookline.

This is a combo sushi and japan style steak house. The steak house seems to get the families to enjoy the food and the show that you get from a Japan style steak house. We had some of their special Sushi dishes. I enjoyed them. My friend thought the Dragon Roll was a little weak, but for the most part... More

Went on a busy Friday night and got right in. They have tables in the dining room and a hibachi room along with a downstairs that offers Karaoke. Huge menu to choose from. Lots of different drinks. Service was just okay. and there was no explanation on what was included with dinners. Soup and salads showed up for some of... More

Osaka is tucked away on Green St., a small distance from Coolidge Corner, but it's quite a big restaurant. Definitely, Osaka is a cool place to go, with a jazzy, comfortable decor, delicious food, and noisy eatertainment, if you want it -- chefs with knives tossing food around. But there are more quiet places to be, too, if you don't... More

There are a number of luncheon offerings. The number 1 sushi box has a selection of tuna and salmon offerings with sesame & seaweed salad. All fresh beautifully presented. I originally came here during restaurant week and liked it so much I returned for lunch. This is on a side street just off Harvard St. Well worth a visit and... More

We went to celebrate the a birthday with 4 young ladies, 2 grand kids, 2 kids and 2 grandparents (us!). A great time was had by all! Wonderful service, entertaining hibachi chef and great food. Not easy to please our entire crowd, but everyone had a blast!

The sushi was excellent. A great selection, very imaginative combinations, and beautifully presented. I had the Hibachi chicken and shrimp and loved it. The service was friendly, prompt, and professional. I'm delighted to recommend this place.

There is not much to go into detail on since the restaurant met all "sushi" expectations. All of the basic rolls and pieces were on the menu along with an assortment of specialty rolls. There was also a wide range of Japanese noodle and grill dishes. Prices were good and ambience was fine (even quiet).
