I had the BLT with avocado aioli on grilled brioche. The aioli had no taste so had to ask for catsup. Fries were unseasoned and somewhat undercooked. Coffee was weak. Server was cordial but kept calling us "girls," which was annoying. Service was also slow, despite restaurant being nearly empty. The biggest plus was the music: vintage pop, played at... More

I went to this restaurant for the first time last night, and it was delicious. We started with a duck the incredible. I had lamb chops, she had the sirloin steak. Both were really good. Entrees averaged about $25. Great atmosphere to boot!

I think the Regal Beagle is super cute, but I think it's pricey for what it is and I don't think the food is exceptional, though it is good. I've been a few times and each time I walked away satisfied, but not overly wishing to quickly return. It is a cute atmosphere and the staff is nice, but a... More

We live in the neighborhood and eat here from time to time. The food is consistently very good. The stuffed dates app is heavenly. This is definitely a good spot for date night and/or dinner with friends. It won't break the bank and the food is truly delish.

The Regal Beagle was a short walk from our hotel, and upon entering we hoped the food would match the ambiance. We were not disappointed. The service, wine selection and menu choices were excellent. We left feeling very pleased with our decision to dine at The Regal Beagle. There is one observation that we made and would like to comment.... More

I came to Boston to spend the night with my daughter who lives in Coolidge Corner. We were lucky to walk in and get a table on a Thursday night. We started with good drinks and the most spectacular bacon wrapped figs - they were almost candied. YUM! Also a deliciously spicy caesar salad. That would have been enough but... More

The food you may find is very good although we find the waits to often be too long, tables too crowded and some of the food is too expensive for what it is-- to really be enthusiastic about it.

This place is right down the street from the Theater, so it is a great place to stop in first (or any evening) for a cocktail. The drinks are great here! Food is generally very tasty, but can be on the salty side.

I had two days in Boston for a course on Meditation. Love Boston even when it is 16 degrees; friendly people, amazing history, terrific sports teams and easy to get around. I asked guys in a food truck serving delicious grilled cheese sandwiches for a seafood suggestion. They directed me to a place in Brookline where JFK childhood home is... More

My friend and I were staying in Brookline for a visit and overnight. The concierge at the hotel we were at recommended this local spot for lunch. We ended up there for a long and relaxed lunch and back again fro drinks and dessert after dinner elsewhere. We just loved the service and unusual menu choices. We sat for hours... More
