When I moved to the Coolidge Corner area, I was attracted by the Regal Beagle's tagline, "A Neighborhood Joint." Indeed, this is a great place to go to get to know the servers and bartenders, and to feel welcomed and at home. The bar area often has a few regulars enjoying great drinks and conversation. The food is also excellent... More

Very cool, very hipster. We have been in here a few times and tend to come for a cocktail by the bar. The staff are really nice and we have had great fun with them each time we have visited. We have only eaten apps from the menu, but if they are anything to go by then we can assume... More

Came here for lunch on a weekday. Quiet place and was able to sit at a table near the windows. It's a great place to people watch around Coolidge Corner. Food was delicious and the service was great!

Pretty cool place, mostly great food. It's not my favorite in Coolidge Corner because sometimes the service is not as good as elsewhere and it can be busy and not as kid friendly but definitely worth a visit

A very nice place, good food at a fair price. I had read about it in my Lonely Planet and it met our expetations

Went there last night with a friend. We got there early at 5:45pm and it was pretty quiet. We were seated at a narrow two seater along the wall in the middle of the restaurant. I thought that was kind of odd considering the restaurant was empty other than two other tables, but whatever. I ordered the mac and cheese... More

I had the BLT with avocado aioli on grilled brioche. The aioli had no taste so had to ask for catsup. Fries were unseasoned and somewhat undercooked. Coffee was weak. Server was cordial but kept calling us "girls," which was annoying. Service was also slow, despite restaurant being nearly empty. The biggest plus was the music: vintage pop, played at... More

I went to this restaurant for the first time last night, and it was delicious. We started with a duck the incredible. I had lamb chops, she had the sirloin steak. Both were really good. Entrees averaged about $25. Great atmosphere to boot!

I think the Regal Beagle is super cute, but I think it's pricey for what it is and I don't think the food is exceptional, though it is good. I've been a few times and each time I walked away satisfied, but not overly wishing to quickly return. It is a cute atmosphere and the staff is nice, but a... More

We live in the neighborhood and eat here from time to time. The food is consistently very good. The stuffed dates app is heavenly. This is definitely a good spot for date night and/or dinner with friends. It won't break the bank and the food is truly delish.
