The brunch time quesadilla with scrambled egg, guacamole and home made chorizo was really delicious, accompanied with a side of fresh and crispy patatas smothered in hot sauce could not have been better. The Yellowfin tuna and chorizo tacos were also really flavourful and cooked to perfection. Also a must mention was the refreshing glass of a watermelon and mint... More

Sounds like you got to try a little bit of everything, and we're so glad it all hit the spot, Shyana! A Chorizo Quesadilla with a Watermelon Fresca on the side? Just doesn't get any better than that -- especially when those afternoon munchies set in! We'll hope to see you for round two soon! Cheers, Michael More

Saw a lot of raves about this place, so decided to check it out. I ordered a taco plate with a shrimp and a grilled veggie taco that came with rice and black beans. I really was hoping to like the food, but I was really disappointed. The beans had a weird taste and the rice was dry (didn't taste... More

Well that's not what we like to hear, Melissa! So sorry that your first go-around with us didn't quite live up to your expectations. From one Californian to another, I know how bad those cravings for Cali-style tacos can be, and it's a shame we weren't able to satisfy them for you. I hope you'll give us another shot to... More

Amazing fish tacos, fairly priced. Great sangria, grilled corn, gazpacho too. Take out joint with shaded sidewalk seating. Great for lunch or brunch.

We were in Brookline to see the house where JFK was born but wanted to grab a quick lunch first. We happened on Dorado's and decided to try it. It was really very, very good. It's not a fancy place and you have to order at the counter but the food was tasty and the price was right. I would... More

Well doesn't that sound like the perfect Boston day, Linda! So happy we could help you fill up before heading out on your adventures. Did you get to try any of our fish tacos this time around? If not, you'll definitely have to give them a go the next time you're in our neck of the woods! Cheers, Michael More

I got some take away from this place. I went with the pork cemita and was fairly disappointed. Cemita is basically like a mexican hamburger. However because the chicken was breaded and there was next to no sauces on the burger the whole thing was rather dry and very unexciting. Maybe I choose the wrong menu item, judging from all... More

I have been to this place twice in the past week and I can finally say that MexiCali aside, this will be my only Mexican joint that I'll hit up in Boston. My first trip there came after I saw that this place was on the "Hot on Yelp" list and also because I wondered what the hell a cemita... More

I regularly walk 20 minutes to Dorado Tacos, in any weather, for their batter-fried whitefish tacos and grilled vegetable tacos. The Taco Plate comes with the best black beans and rice I've ever had. You can't beat the flavor and value. If you're a meat eater, they also have fantastic port tacos. Note that this is high-quality, authentic food, not... More

They always have a range of interesting fish, non fish and vegetarian options The flavors are intense and delicious but not overly spicy. The set up is pretty simple, but the value is excellent and the service is good.

We go almost every weekend - relatively cheap, lots of variety. Some classic fish tacos and some other meat/ vegie ones too. In season, the elote - corn with cheese, spices - is a must. The staff, even though at first glance might appear like young students not wanting to be there, are great - helpful and friendly. Quick walk... More
