Yes it's a chain restaurant, and no you can't compare it to the GREAT MOM & POP experiences in Texas >>>> Louisiana.... But..the ribs were very good..albeit portion control means servings are not overly generous. Sides of coleslaw and applesauce were good. bread was mediocre As pointed out by earlier reviewer..smoke turkey is nothing to write home about...bland and dry.... More

Four of us ate here and would not come back. 3 of our meals were just TV dinner quality and the ribs were just ok. Had smoked turkey which was just processed turkey slices smoked so they actually tasted more like ham. Tiniest baked potato I have ever seen. Way overcooked corn on the cob. Riblets that were just OK.... More

Their dry rub ribs are to die for. Ask for the HOT SAUCE, to go with them. You get a choice of two sides and texas toast. My favorite side are the killer onion ring......................delious

This was our first time eating here. Three of us ordered the pulled pork sandwich. While the flavor of the meat was good, there was no indication on the menu that we could see that the pork had also been marinated in a very spicy hot sauce. None of us cared for the sandwich because it was to spicy and... More

Not the greatest BBQ, but not the worst either. Compares with a decent to average BBQ joint in the south. Food quality is OK and service I'd good. Menu choices are typical BBQ restaurant choices minus the Brunswick stew.

We are so happy to have a decent rib place right in our own backyard. We have eaten here several times and have always been satisfied with our meals. Staff is friendly and service is quick. I like the variety of sides offered with your meal (coleslaw, fries, corn cobette, apple sauce, etc.) and the portions are just right.

This place is always good. In house smoked meats that are always melt in your mouth awesome and even the chicken strips are better than ordinary. All the sides are great. There is usually a line to be seated. Lunch time is very busy, as was during our last visit. They were short staffed, but everyone was understanding, because it... More

Rib City has consistently delighted us. I most frequently have the Smoked BBQ chicken and it melts in my mouth. I love that smoked flavor-unlike anywhere else. At other restaurants the potatoes have been a disappointment to me - Dry and Tasteless. Rib City has Moist, flavorful potatoes. Their coleslaw is delicious and the baked beans are quite the sweet... I consider myself a bit of a rib expert having travelled all around the U.S trying out ribs. Are they tops? no. Are they tops in the area? no. Are they a consistent and good, fall off the bone ribs? yes. Three different sauces are offered on the table, good service, a small play center for kids. The baby backs,... More

The food was average at best and the service wasn't great either. We were excited to try a new BBQ place but won't be going back to this one.
