Good Food, Strange Server

I enjoyed the food - I had a fish dish with a tasty clam chowder. The service was done over a good amount of time and our server tried hard, but I thought he was a bit strange (and brought out the salad and soup prior to our appetizer).

This has got to be the very best Halibut Fish and Chips in Vancouver, WA they CONSISTANTLY give you great fish without greasy batter, and a nice healthy portion for your order. AND it is not pre-portioned fish!! Its real fillets. If only everyone did it that way! Today I also had an appetizer plate with calamari and it was... More

We were very surprised at the extensive food menu for happy hour. It's virtually everything on their regular appetizer menu, but at prices that are about half off. For example, the bay shrimp cocktail is normally about $5, but we got it for three. AND it was the same huge portion that you would normally get, not a smaller version.... More

The preparation of the fresh Coho Salmon was poorly done. I refused the first portion as it was overcooked and very dry. It took forever to get the redone dish from the kitchen by the time it came everyone at the table had finished their dinner. The second time around was no better than the first in fact maybe even... We have always had great food and service at this location. But we have really started being surprised at their extensive Happy Hour Menu. This is by far the best in our part of Vancouver, WA. Everything is fresh. We have tried most of the almost 25 1/2 priced Appetizers and have not been disappointed with any. The drinks are... More

The food was not just BAD but BURNED!!! They tried to serve us BURNED Clam Chowder and it was brought out with bread after the main plates. What kind of a chief that can't smell burned food and still allow server to bring out the BURNED food. Manager tried to bring out new one but oh no... that was bad... More

Horrible, terrible, gross, icky, ect... The seafood is not from anywhere close to the sea. The cooking is worse than if you opened a can of ANYTHING, warmed it to a mild room temperature and then slathered in grease, mayo, or a weird tangy sauce that is neon orange and tastes something like thousand island dressing. The service is lame,... More

Taking our friend out as a thank you and this was her pick. Food was very well prepared and service very good. We were there around 5pm on a Friday night and there was no wait. Really enjoyed our meals and the social atmosphere. We had Halibut Parmesan, Stuffed Mushrooms, Sesame Chicken appetizer, Seafood Astoria, Shrimp Louie and Top Sirloin.... More
