On the road and we refuse to do the McD's or Denny's thing. Saw this and stopped in....glad we did. I had the Schnitzel Club and my wife had the soup with a cheese bread. Both were VERY tasty.

Four of us had dinner at Gustav's this evening. The food was very good. We each enjoyed what we ordered. The service was very attentive. We shared the richest brownie we have ever eaten. Prices were very reasonable.

I'm very particular with spatzle because a lot of restaurants can't get it right. Gustav's was a great find! The spatzle's brought me back to my college days in Europe. You could see that from the shape of the dumplings, it was not done with one of those cheap spatzle machines. It tasted fab! The bratwurst was great too. The... More

We come here often. They do have a couple other restaurants in this chain in nearby Portland, but this is our favorite. Fondue and more fondue. We all love it. The chicken snitchle is another favorite. Potatoes pancakes are great. The desserts are incredible. If your having a late lunch I suggest the Happy Hour menu. So many things to... More

The restaurant was very clean, the service was excellent. I personally was not impressed by the food although the pretzels and fried cauliflower were great. I had never been to eat German food so did not know what to expect. The people I dined with who had eaten this type of food before said it was excellent but I personally... More

I ate here for lunch on Sunday and it was very good. Everything was authentic: beer, spaetzle, pretzels, and schnitzel. Flavorful, huge portions and great service. My kind of place!

Took my son there for a special meal. Started off with fondue and brat's. I ordered the cabbage rolls and he had the French dip. I've had the cabbage rolls before and they were good but, this time they were luke warm and didn't taste fresh. My son was so full from the fondue he just wanted to doggy bag... More

We received very good service and good food while having dinner tonight. The pretzel fondue, veal schnitzel, beer and sausages were very tasty!

Gustav's has the look and feel of a chain restaurant. I don't know if it is or not; but, it doesn't matter. We found the restaurant appealing and the food very good. We started out with the large Bavarian pretzel which came with a delicious sweet and spicy mustard and an order of the cabbage rolls. Then, my wife had... More

Had the potato pancakes and apple sauce for brunch, very well presented and the flavor was amazing. We were greeted promptly and seated quickly on a Friday late afternoon. Server was very pleasant. Definitely worth the price.
