A nice mid-scale restaurant on the beaches of the Columbian River.

I'ts seventy five miles to the ocean but if a riverside location is a beach to you; well then your right there. Beaches has that chain restaurant formula feel to it because it is. So the building is quite nice; menus, service and management have that sheen and consistency of being well trained by a mid-level polished chain. So, if... More

This review is for the PDX location. We had breakfast and Bloody Mary's before leaving for a morning flight. The food was delicious and the service was quick and efficient. I had the vegetarian frittata and my husband had one of the omelets. We both had a Bloody Mary that was called Monkey something. It was spacey and yummy.

My favorite restaurant in the greater Portland area. I have recommended this place to so many people over the years. I no longer live in Oregon, but every time I am back for a visit I eat at Beaches - every time. The only downside is that it is quite popular and sometimes there is a bit of a wait... More

The manager at our hotel recommended this place to eat and she was right. Food was excellent, loved the location and the views. Wish we had gone to eat here every night.

The absolute best place to be on a sunny day! We stumbled across this place while traveling on Easter Sunday and were pleasantly surprised to be seated on the outside patio after a short 20-minute wait. It was perfect! Our server (Tara) was awesome! She had fun with us and we received great service from her. Not only did she... More

Great food, great service, great atmosphere, great view= GO THERE! Be sure not to get too full on the bread because the meal is even better! My favorite used to be the chicken and mango sandwhich. The fries have a perfect sweet seasoning.... at least order them and you will not be disappointed.

"BEACHES". THE restaurant to take your wife, girl friend, family or boss, for spectacular drinks made by the music loving bar tender David, he mixes exotic drinks by the minute, while listening to the up beat music screaming out from the loud speaker just behind him. This place is Lively, and fun. but most of all the Food is extraordinary,... More

The happy hour snacks are nice but the bar is so noisy you literally have to shout at your tablemates and then hope that you can read their lips when they shout back at you. Combine the echo off the concrete and glass, loud music, and everyone else screaming at their tablemates and the inexpensive happy hour burger just isn't... More
