Great old style diner

Went there the other night with friends. It was our first time there. Building is shiny chrome-like on the outside and it's kind of shaped like a train passenger car. We were seated quickly and given menus. Larger menu than I expected with several different style dinners from burgers to... read more

We have been here several times now and each time we go things are great. I don't think I have ever had a bad meal here.

We have been there about 8 times and about 75% of the time, the food is pretty good, the other 25% the food is just so so, but those area always during really busy times. My recommendation is to come when it is not so busy in the afternoon or weekday morning. Every breakfast house in Vancouver is packed on... More

Stardust has been a local favorite of ours and a good number of our friends since it first opened. The diner atmosphere is outstanding, with the perfect vintage feel and décor that carries through to menu pages. Service is attentive and friendly. However, when a group of four of us dined there recently we all agreed that food quality had... More

The Stardust Diner's "claim to fame" is its '50s theme, including appearing to be a silver train car, '50s memorabilia on the walls, true blue-plate specials, and even more '50s decor. The menu is that of a coffee-shop-plus, including prime rib and some other eye-openers for such a place. We shared a hamburger and a breakfast, both of which were... More

My wife has eaten here 3 times and I once but it has been excellent food. Seeing the outside you are immediately taken nostalgically back to the 50's in this retro diner and once inside it continues with many photos of the 1940's and 50's and the general feel of the place. It features classic food at fair prices, house... More

Stardust frequently has coupons for saving on their delicious meals. They have a long and ambitious menu, and do a great job on everything. The restaurant is like a forties diner--all silvery on the outside, and period photos on the walls indoors. The staff is friendly and efficient and the menu varied--everything from liver and onions to Monte Christo sandwiches.... More
