This is the first time I really felt like I was graciously invited to an Indian family's house to eat. Not one--repeat--not one bite was off. Veg dishes, rice, meats, naan, pakoras, gulab juman dessert, lassi's; all of it was eye-rolling good. The perfect place to have our 9-year old try Indian for... read more

I got the lamb curry dinner. Presentation of food was impressive because dinner came with many sides dishes. Portions were big. One of the largest portions of lamb that I have ever received in a lamb curry dish. Yogurt went well to alleviate the heat of some of the food. I appreciated that they left a pitcher of water at... I went here at lunch to get take out when meeting a friend for a lunch break, and the owner immediately greeted me and provided containers to select items from the buffet. They also provided foil to take some naan and small containers to ensure we had dessert. The buffet is not as large as some of the other Indian... More

Wow I was really impressed! The meals come either a-la-carte or as a "dinner" the dinner was a few sides the main dish and a desert. The food was great. I had the Aloo Mutter and it had a slight sweetness to the spiciness of it with some cinnamon - AMAZING! Service was attentive and I definitely found it a... More

I did a dinner pick up here after an exhausting day. My partner and I ordered two entrees but then converted them to the 'dinner' option (I forget the actual term they use) for a couple $$ more. First, my eggplant dish was delicious - it was basically bangan bharta but not the bharta (smashed) part. Same flavors, different texture,... More

When the Beaverton, Oregon Indian restaurant opened a Vancouver, WA branch, we raised our own private flag! Located in what was a Thai restaurant, it's ambiance is somewhat lacking, but the food makes up for it. Buffet at lunch, and order from the menu at dinner. They have Southern Indian dishes, too, which many Indian places don't serve!

Went for dinner. Ordered okra vegetable as a thali which came with lentil soup, rice, dessert of your choice with nan. Okra was deep fried which is a drawback but otherwise the meals and dessert were excellent. We ordered mango ice cream which was also excellent. Also the location has plenty of parking.

My husband and I eat here all the time. I have never been disappointed. I have eaten plenty of indian food and am so glad to finally have a great restaurant so close to home. I no longer feel like I have to drive all the way into Portland to get decent indian food. The service is excellent. The couple... More

We have eaten at Abhiruchi a number of times now, each time for their lunch buffet, and have been consistently impressed. The buffet is somewhat small but still offers a very nice selection of Indian dishes that all have a fresh homemade taste. While not everything on the buffet is particularly spicy, I would recommend trying any unfamiliar items first... More

The whole experience is undesirable. The atmosphere is not very inviting. It looks like something out of the 1980's and feels depressing. The food wasn't bad, but it wasn't particularly great. It was just ok - feels like a cheap lunch spot for travelers. I live less than a mile from this restaurant and will drive twice the distance to... More
