I came here with the intent to have lunch with my daughter on a Sunday. My daughter is celiac (gluten intolerant) and the host immediately directed us to eat in the bar because the waiter is also gluten intolerant and gave us really good recommendations off the menu. I had the shrimp tacos with guacamole and my daughter had the... More

This eastside restaurant closed in early summer. The downtown restuarant with the same owner, Tommy O's, is stlil going, though.

The generally quiet downtown of Vancouver is a contrast to the bustling quality of Portland across the river. We were at a meeting nearby and walked here. The proprietor discussed the menu and made helpful recommendations. This is the first time I had eaten authentic Hawaiian cuisine. The butter fish was tasty. recommended.

My boyfriend and I were spending the weekend in Vancouver to cross the bridge and see Portland. One night we just wanted to stay and eat by the hotel for dinner. It was great! Beers on draft that were local microbrews were great. My boyfriend had the fish and chips which were great. I had the macadamia nut encrusted halibut... More

Tommy O's, a Hawaiian restaurant, is in downtown Vancouver, Washington and is a favorite of mine. I go there frequently and have tried several menu items, which are all good, but my favorite is the Kalua pork, brown rice, and mac salad. Try a Fire Rock draft beer which is made with the same Kona Brewing Company recipe as on... More

What can I say? Tommy o's is new, clean, modern and has nice interesting furnishings with bamboo dividers and etched glass leaves. We went to the Buffet and the Buffet may not be typical of the restaurant dishes since it was all subject to steam tables and also to unlimited seconds. Quantity makes up for missing quality in the minds... More

My wife and I went there on a Saturday night and sat in the bar. My wife wanted to go here and I was actually looking forward to the tuna that she had there last time we went. I ordered a washougal roll which was very good and the Ahi with lobster rissoto and my wife had ordered the chicken... More
