Our favorite Vancouver restaurant

This place has to be Vancouver's best kept secret. We love to go here for lunch, happy hour, wine tastings, and dinner. Casual but intimate, rustic but elegant, the best wine list in town and it always changes as they feature different regions around the world. Excellent Caesar salads, and... read more

Casual but intimate, rustic but elegant, the best wine list in town and it always changes as they feature different regions around the world. Excellent Caesar salads, and haven't had a pasta dish yet that disappoints. Sandwiches rock... More

My daughter and I recently visited La Bottega for a lunch date on a Saturday afternoon. While the dining area is fairly small, the atmosphere is pleasant. Our waitress shared the afternoon lunch specials with us immediately and answered our questions on several dishes. My daughter ordered the Lasagna and I had the Fettucine el Panna along with the Baby... More

Recently moved to Vancouver after some extensive traveling and found la Bottega. What a fresh breath of air. The wine selection is good, the food is always cooked exactly as requested, and the service impeccable. Always greeted with a smile and treated as though family. In my experience the best resteraunt experience in Vancouver by far. I cannot compliment the... More

We're from out of town and have eaten at restaurants all over the country. We know the difference between average, mediocre and good food. This is good food. Friendly, attentive servers, a good wine selection and the food was prepared to order and very good. Especially recommend the chicken risotto (forget the exact name on the menu). It definitely was... This place is much more than it appears from the street. Besides awesome Italian food, wine and deli and dessert items are available. The prices are reasonable. Sometimes we go just for the gorgonzola cheesecake appetizer with a bottle of wine and some bread. They have a big rolling door for summer dinning.

We went and had lunch here one afternoon. It was busy, but we got seated pretty quickly. We ordered the Gorgonzola Cheese cake as an appetizer and it was amazing! You really need to try this as your taste buds will love you! Each of us ordered a pasta and we shared a salad. All three pastas were delicious, and... More

This restaurant has a limited menu and huge wine list. Our party of five shared a number of tasty appetizers and then dove into our own entrees. The food is outstanding. The wine list is strong on Italian, Oregon, Washington and California wines. Servers seem to know the list pretty well, so you can ask for advice. I consider this... More

Amazing food! The restaurant is small--not a lot of seating. But the food is delicious. Not overboard on cheese, as is often the case. Fresh-tasting! Lots of menu choices. They have a few retail food/wine gift items, as well.

We came to the area while staying in nearby Battle Ground, and upon noticing the selection was rather small, decided to venture into Vancouver for shopping and dinner. What a great choice. Upon entering, I immidiate u loved the small restaurant feel and beat La Bottega. As for healthy choices, there are plenty of them. We started our meal off... More

My daughter's family lives in Vancouver and whenever 'YaYa' comes for a visit we enjoy one fantastic night of wine, pasta, and dessert at LaBottega's! The pastry case is by the front door which allows the 'silly sisters' to begin talking about dessert immediately upon arrival. The hand made truffles are big with Ruthie; the gelato always heavenly, and in... More
