Place was OK, it is VERY old, a throw back from days gone by. I had a cheese omelet ($4.25 according to menu) which was over cooked, too brown, with home fires, rye toast and an ice tea. Hubby had CB hash and poached eggs ($4.95 morning special), white toast, coffee and a large OJ (we all know large is... More

All food is home cooked and is fairly good. Prices are reasonable. Problem lies in the fact that the place isn't as clean as it could be. When old Eddie was there the place was spice and span. Now there is clutter and tables and counters aren't clean. Still a good place to eat and daily specials are good.

This is a great old diner, though the classic exterior bits of the 1941 O'Mahony are a bit obscured at this point. No matter. The interior is mostly original. Better yet, the food is excellent, the service is good and it's just a wonderful, friendly place to have a meal. Breakfast is sensational. Cooked right in front of you on... More

When people ask me what my favorite local restaurant is, I always say Eddie's Diner! It's the only restaurant I go to and have to decide on which of my favorites I should have. Most restaurants you go to, you have one favorite and that's what you order every time. Fish fry on Fridays is a local favorite at any... More

Rare old 1940s metal exterior pullman car style diner with excellent comfort food at unbelievable prices. Family owned friendly atmosphere with booth and stool counter seating. A breakfast/brunch must with daily dinner specials that will bring you back to a time when was made you feel good and dessert was a heavenly ending to dinner.

Eddies is a typical diner in the old style. Booth eating or at the counter. Lots of comfort food. Prices are reasonable. Nothing fancy.

We made this our lunch break between the International Boxing Hall of Fame in Canastota and Ft. Stanwix, which is just a couple of blocks from the diner. Truly a classic diner experience. Earlier positive reviews have said it all. We had breakfast for lunch, and it was great, but we watched the cook carve a crisp, golden, steaming turkey... More

Stumbled upon this while in Rome NY on a business trip. It's a little off the beaten path but its location is parallel to a main street so not hard to find. Parking is a little tricky because the diner is set perpendicular to the street- in other words the lot is very narrow! But when you go inside you'll... More
