Great Steak

Great steak, shrimp , and atmospher. The shrimp appetizer was very flavorful along with a few tamales I begged from my buddy. The salad with house dressing was also very good. Went to Doe's with my wife for our wedding anniversary and we both had an excellent steak. It is by far the best steak that we've had in Fort Smith. The service was good and we took advantage of their beer special. However the salad was somewhat average.

You cannot visit Fort Smith and NOT stop by Doe's Eat Place. Great atmospher, never had a bad steak there and the staff are amazingly friendly and always cheerful when they serve you.

First time eating at this restaurant. Not too many places can cook a 2 1/4 inch filet mignon to perfection. Sides are limited but good. I had a salad with homemade blue cheese dressing, boiled red potatoes and sautéed mushrooms with my 8oz filet. Absolutely the best. Waitress was superior. My only complaint would be, I made the reservation a... More

I loved the potato skins, fries and rolls. The steak was massive but as far as taste I've had better and I've had worse. Don't get me wrong, it's the best steak I've had in Ft. Smith but compared to other steak houses I've been to I've had better.

I wanted to take my sister to dinner for her birthday so I chose Doe's Eat Place. The food was superb and more than enough. The service was great and the waitress very attentive.

It's not good, it's not bad, just mehh. The steaks are pretty good, but overly enormous. It's the rest of the menu that sucks. I mean really, if you're going to go to that extent on the steaks, and charge the prices you do, I don't expect to get isht out of a can for my sides!! They need some... More

Expensive but you can easily share a plate with another. Great atmosphere in the cellar to eat.great service and quality food. Great for a special occasion, not a regular evening out on the town. Dropped biscuits where very good. ALso the building is an actual historic site itself. Get there early, they do fill up very fast.

Arrived at 4:57....door locked til 5:03. A restaurant at Lake of the Ozarks practices this attitude adjustment, but Blue Heron is worthy of it. Following reviews we were seated in The Keg Room...dark, musty and uncomfortable. Waitress was pleasant. I had commented on the uneven stones of the floor, being like Top of the Rock. She said she used to... More
