Not really Mexican, but not bad food

Had dinner here while spending the night nearby. The "Americana" sign drew us in. I don't believe any Mexicans work here, but the staff are friendly and gracious. Spouse and I both had wet chicken burritos. Good flavor, nice portion size, good price. Chips were tasty, too. Salsa could use more... read more

The Chile Rellanos are hand made by the same woman that has made them for years. I have never found any that taste as good as these!!!! All of their food is authentic and handmade fresh each day!

The best Mexican food this side of the Mississippi what am I saying the best anywhere. I make sure I get there at least once when I am in town. The staff is very friendly and fast.

We have eaten at Juan's for years and years. The service is always great and the food is wonderful. We used to live in FS, but now live in Florida, but when we visit we always return to Juan's!

I've eaten there many times recently and the last few years and the food and service are always good . The chips and queso dip are a fave . Nice and cozy and quiet and without the hustle and bustle of other places. The wait staff are very good and attentive , especially Anna . David Carmack

I have been going to Juan's since I was a child. Even though I live in a different city now, whenever we come back to visit Fort Smith, Juan's is a must for my family's itinerary. The cheese dip is the best in the world - you can't find it like this anywhere else! Love the salsa too. I always... More

I agree with previous reviews....Salsa was like ketchup....cheese dip was awful, thick and cold. Rice tasted like Spanish rice out of a box. Dont waste your time or your money here!!

Salsa has no flavor and neither does the guacamole. Food is served on TV dinner-style plates and the servers are as old as the paint scheme. Had dinner with a friend the manager knew and the manager interrupted our dismal lunch no fewer than 12 (count 'em) times to "chat". Stay away....you're better off buying a 99 cent gas station... My B-n-L raved about this place and the Chile Relleno Special. I ordered the 1/2 pound fajitas, I received a platter of mostly onions and peppers with very little meat. What little chicken there was, was so dried out that it was unappetizing. The salsa tastes like it is made with ketchup.

Taste like tv dinner, yuck! Salsa was like ketchup. Very few drink options. It was not authentic. Not one Hispanic in staff, not even in kitchen.

Thank Kristina R
