Great food!

Great fried barbecue ribs! We both ordered the ribs with two sides and it was delicious! Chris was our server and he couldn't have been more friendly or eager to please. We will be back when we return in November.

Excellent country cooking restaurant. We had grilled catfish and chicken pot pie, both were well prepared. Price was right as well.

Love the fried chicken livers. They are the best in town. Lots of good sides to go with your entre that include baked squash and broccoli rice casserole to name a few. The complimentary cinnamon rolls are very tasty.

Calico is an independent family owned restaurant here in Fort Smith that has been a fixture in the community for years. A little over a year ago there was a major fire and they built back. The atmosphere is better than ever, the food stayed the same great home cooking style and the service has always been terrific. I highly... More

I've been here at least two dozen times and never had gone away hungry or displeased. It can get crowded at times but that's more of a sign of how good it is.

This is a very good restaurant for good home cooked type meals. The food is good and the cinnamon rolls are amazing. We have eaten here several times and will continue to go back.

If you could see me in person you would know in a second that I don't miss meals and I like to eat. Well Calico County is a place that I really would place at the top of my list if I had my choice of places to eat. Situated about a block off the one of main streets through... More

What a great place for breakfast. The cinnamon rolls were wonderful and everything tasted great. Highly recommend. Will definitely return if in the area again.

Calico County has revived from a fire a year or more ago, and is back full swing. Because of the down home menu, you usually have to stand in line to get into this locally-owned restaurant. We went around 11:30 a.m. on a Tuesday, and got seated immediately. By the time we left, the lines had formed for lunch! The... More

Three Fort Smith locals on the plane with me recommended Calico County for good country food and a good chicken fried steak. It locally owned, not a chain. One couple told me their daughter was a server there. I had dinner there that night and it was good. Although my chicken fried steak was pretty good, a “good chicken fried... More
