I had the catfish and my wife had the chicken fried chicken, we were both pleased with our dinner. Kudos to the staff for being good sports too, we walked in the door about 15 minutes before they closed and being a former server I know how frustrating that can be. Their pinto beans were top notch and the deep... More

Found this place on Trip Advisor while in town. SO glad we did! Don't order an appetizer, those cinnamon rolls are wonderful! Looks of selection, good home style food. Friendly, fast service. I picked up a dozen day old cinnamon rolls for $2.99. I will recommend this place FOR SURE!!

We pulled up in the parking lot, and knew we were in trouble. So of the staff was outside smoking. Went inside and was quickly seated. Our waitress was very polite, and brought us cinnamon rolls. That was a nice surprise, was the best thing we ate! Ordered a club sandwich, which was Texas toast dipped in butter, and was... More

Family atmosphere. Lots of antiques on the walls to keep your mind busy while waiting for your meal, not that the wait was long. Food was good, service was fast and friendly.

When we visited there was only a few people in the building. Our service was deplorable and the food was not good. Maybe if they know you it might be different but certainly not for us.

My co-worker and I visited Calico County restaurant at the recommendation of our hotel clerk. We were greeted warmly and quickly seated. The coffee flowed and the cinnamon rolls we complimentary. Breakfast came quickly and with a smile. Excellent southern country food, nice atmosphere, and pleasant service. If in Fort Smith, stop here for your big breakfast fix!!!

Almost every comfort food is on one menu of traditional American fare. The portions are gigantic and satisfying. The meat loaf, pot roast and veggie plate are my favorites. Almost all dinner entrees come in regular and lite portions. Burgers and dinner plates are named after family members which gives a homey look to the menu. For your veggie selection... More

Upon advise of the hotel clerk we went here. Poor choice, food was very substandard. Put this place on the bottom of the list. The only good thing was the cinnamon rolls. Hot tea was brought without the tea, had to return two vegetables, cheese soup was like gravy, meat loaf was unedible. Yuk! How did this place even get... More

I visited during lunch time. I was seated promptly, serviced quickly and my food was hot and correct! They have a lunch portion that's affordable, lighter and the right amount to keep you full. Yummy daily specials! I would recommend to a friend!
