We were looking for some basic home-cooked food and this restaurant met the need. One of the things we liked was that there is an option to order smaller portions. While the fried okra wasn't my favorite, I really enjoyed the grilled chicken, squash casserole, cinnamon rolls (which are served hot up-front), and my vanilla coke; my husband liked the... More

The burgers were very good...and large. Plenty to share. Came with fries which were tasty also. Good choice.

Very good home cooking type restautrant. I highly recommend this home cooking restaurant if you want some local flavor off the main strip. They serve cinamon rolls instead of dinner rolls in a basket with the meal. The 4 of us that went had a great experience.

We ate breakfast here last week on our way through town. The atmosphere was amazing and the food was even better. The cinnamon rolls that were brought out prior to the meal were fantastic! We bought several dozen to take with us on the rest of our vacation.

I had the catfish and my wife had the chicken fried chicken, we were both pleased with our dinner. Kudos to the staff for being good sports too, we walked in the door about 15 minutes before they closed and being a former server I know how frustrating that can be. Their pinto beans were top notch and the deep... More

Found this place on Trip Advisor while in town. SO glad we did! Don't order an appetizer, those cinnamon rolls are wonderful! Looks of selection, good home style food. Friendly, fast service. I picked up a dozen day old cinnamon rolls for $2.99. I will recommend this place FOR SURE!!

We pulled up in the parking lot, and knew we were in trouble. So of the staff was outside smoking. Went inside and was quickly seated. Our waitress was very polite, and brought us cinnamon rolls. That was a nice surprise, was the best thing we ate! Ordered a club sandwich, which was Texas toast dipped in butter, and was... More

Family atmosphere. Lots of antiques on the walls to keep your mind busy while waiting for your meal, not that the wait was long. Food was good, service was fast and friendly.

When we visited there was only a few people in the building. Our service was deplorable and the food was not good. Maybe if they know you it might be different but certainly not for us.

My co-worker and I visited Calico County restaurant at the recommendation of our hotel clerk. We were greeted warmly and quickly seated. The coffee flowed and the cinnamon rolls we complimentary. Breakfast came quickly and with a smile. Excellent southern country food, nice atmosphere, and pleasant service. If in Fort Smith, stop here for your big breakfast fix!!!
