This is a very good restaurant for good home cooked type meals. The food is good and the cinnamon rolls are amazing. We have eaten here several times and will continue to go back.

If you could see me in person you would know in a second that I don't miss meals and I like to eat. Well Calico County is a place that I really would place at the top of my list if I had my choice of places to eat. Situated about a block off the one of main streets through... More

What a great place for breakfast. The cinnamon rolls were wonderful and everything tasted great. Highly recommend. Will definitely return if in the area again.

Calico County has revived from a fire a year or more ago, and is back full swing. Because of the down home menu, you usually have to stand in line to get into this locally-owned restaurant. We went around 11:30 a.m. on a Tuesday, and got seated immediately. By the time we left, the lines had formed for lunch! The... More

Three Fort Smith locals on the plane with me recommended Calico County for good country food and a good chicken fried steak. It locally owned, not a chain. One couple told me their daughter was a server there. I had dinner there that night and it was good. Although my chicken fried steak was pretty good, a “good chicken fried... More

This is a great place for country cooked food. Everyone gets a cinnamon roll as an appetizer. There are different size portions to suit your appetite.

Good Home Cookin', staff is really nice. Instead of rolls/biscuits - your table gets a basket of cinnamon rolls! Enjoyed the Country Scrambled Eggs - ham and onion cooked in with the eggs. Everyone left with full belly's and a smile. They also have grapefruit juice - which is a nice treat.

This down home country cookin' restaurant is a little hard to find for out of towners, but well worth the effort. The well placed billboard just west of I-540/I-49/US71 (or whatever they are calling it today) on Rogers Avenue lets you know exactly where to turn south to get to this jem. Once there, we found the service friendly and... More

Don't miss the title dishes. Restaurant was full, but service was great. My group of 13 ladies were pleased with their dinners which were reasonably priced.

If you like home cooking, you will love the food at Calico County. They start you out with wonderful cinnamon rolls! They offer a variety of down home meals at a reasonable price. The entire restaurant is decorated with antiques/reproductions of days gone by.
