This was our second visit to the Green Papaya at this location. Western Arkansas is fortunate to have a vibrant Vietnamese community from the days after the fall of Saigon four decades or so when thousands of Vietnamese, Laotian and Cambodians fled. Many were housed at Fort Chaffee south of Fort Smith. Many remained in area and we are much... More

While visiting Fort Smith, three of us stopped for dinner on a weekday evening and were seated immediately at a booth in the almost full dining room. We found the interior attractively decorated; a notch or two above other Vietnamese restaurants we have eaten in. Likewise for the food; it was a notch or two above the usual. Fresh and... More

Just a good place to eat, good service, however, when I show this high rating to others in Fort Smith it hurts credibility of trip advisor as we all wonder how can this be slightly close to possible?

Love, love, love their egg rolls, spring rolls and charbroiled pork meals. The rest of my family love the Pho. Service has improved over the years. A couple of years back, it would take forever to get your food. Not anymore. Take out is such a breeze as well. We got here almost every week!

I've eaten at this restaurant many times over the years and it is consistently good. The service is fast and the food is always very good. I personally like their fried rice dishes and the egg rolls.

If you are very hungry and a fan of pho, this is a good place to stop in Fort Smith. The beef pho, while not the richest broth I've ever had, was loaded with tender meat, and lots of noodles. It was served with a huge plate of bean sprouts, Thai basil, and limes. Add all that and a little... More

The food was good! There are a lot of different options, both with rice and noodles. We have only been one time but will be back.

My wife and I have eaten here two times before and each time the food was excellent! It is Vietnamese not Chinese. They have a special way of flavoring the food that is unique to Vietnamese cuisine. If you'd like that, I highly suggest a visit.

Not much in the way of atmosphere, looks like a converted dairy queen. But, if you are looking for good food this place fits the bill. I had pork and noodles, can't remember the name, but it was delicious. My wife had a chicken dish with rice which was also very good. This place was a very pleasant surprise, I... More
