My wife and I had dinner at the Green Papaya while in Fort Smith. This was our first time trying Vietnamese food. The food was excellent and the portions were huge. I had the Pho and my wife had the chicken fried rice, we also shared an order of spring roll and egg rolls. We had plenty to take with... More

Fabulous food. Friendly servers. Large portions. Their special house fried rice is great as well as their combo meat (chicken & shrimp) with noodles.

Have visited this restaurant repeatedly since the last review, and want to report that it is very consistently good, no matter what menu item is ordered. The service is excellent even though there is usually a crowd and few waitresses. It's obvious that the dishes are made to order, and that fresh ingredients are staples here. Amazing that this weird... More

In Van Buren for business and the girlfriend found this place on Trip Advisor. Glad she did and that we drove over to Fort Smith - well worth it. Everything we had was very great and the service was good as well. Very flavorful Pho (girlfriend is very picky about Pho and she really liked this one); loved the tofu... More

Had never had Vietnamese food before, but saw the excellent reviews & as a local, decided to try it. It was excellent. My only criticism is the lack of fountain drinks and free refills.

Tried the Green Papaya from TA reviews. We arrived at 7:30 PM on a Sunday evening after a long day driving from Atlanta. The restaurant was busy and we were seated immediately. The waiter recommended the Spring rolls which were very good and inexpensive. We had a fried rice dish with shrimp, chicken, and pork. Also had a chicken dish... More

We were traveling through on I40 and saw the reviews so we thought we'd stop in. Didn't know it was so far off the highway. It was definitely worth the trip. Their beef Pho is some of the best I've tasted. It was flavorful and had lots of meat, I couldn't eat it all. (That's unusual). This will definitely be... More

Ft. Smith has a very large vietnamese population for a small city and the food culture they bring is very inviting and refreshing. Now onto the review; I've broken them up into categories: 1. (Location) - (Good) - It's not the greatest location, but don't let it fool you. The quality of the food makes ups for it; I always... More

This place is a bit off the beaten path, but well worth the drive. I've been on an Asian kick here lately so we tried this place tonight. Our server was friendly and efficient as a bee filling orders and keeping glasses full. Our food was very tasty, and the portions are generous, especially for the price. I was surprised... More
