open daily, serves his own smoked beef, pork and sausage with a large selection of complementary side dishes. His nacho plate is a specialty. Owner/smoker in the kitchen dishing it up!

Ordered a basket meal and was a little disappointed with very few chips, pickle & the main BBQ meat (which I think was a sandwich). Felt there should of been a choice of a side instead. The BBQ meat was not our type of smoked BBQ style. A little tough & seemed to be more steamed than smoked but then... More

We got off the Hwy for a break and were pleasantly surprised with Fort Scott National Historic Site and equally pleased and surprised with "Sugarfoot & Peaches BBQ". We walked in and out of quite afew restaurants before we settled on Sugarfoot, as it smelled great. Don't let the cover of the book dissuade you from trying this place. We... More

Being from KC I am picky about bbq. Have been going past here for some time and decided to stop. Should have stopped a long time ago! Got the combo platter for a sample of everything. It all was excellent. Pulled pork is to die for along with the bbq nachos. Hot sauce is hot! On the corner east of... More

I liked Sugarfoot and Peaches BBQ. It wasn't spectacular, but it was tasty. The pork loin didn't have a lot of flavor, but the turkey, sausages, and brisket were good. They did have some good bbq sauce. The service was good. The exterior is a little off putting, but once you get in it is very neat and clean. The... More

Don't let the exterior mislead you. The outside lacks a little to be desired but the food is awesome! This is some of the best BBQ that I have had the pleasure to taste. The atmosphere is good and was waited on and served by the owner. There was a small wait for our food but it was definitely worth... More

Very good barbecue! Service was subpar, only one waitress when we went in and it wasn't very busy yet at 7pm... But that quickly changed within 20 minutes the place was full and our waitress was overwhelmed. They were also making some to go orders so the food took a while to get to us. When the food came however,... More

Don't let the outside of this place discourage you. The food is great and the atmosphere is nice. The restaurant is super clean too.

Not great BBQ, but not bad either. There are not many great culinary experiences in this town, so this place was not bad. It's very small and quaint, when I stopped by for dinner at 6 pm on a Monday, I was the only one there. Food was OK, sauce was OK.

I called in a pickup order at 3pm for 5:30pm. Only 1 pound of brisket and 1 pound turkey. The guy tells me he may not have that much left. Regardless, I ask for whatever he can do. When I show up with a gift card he flips out on me and acts like I did something wrong by not... More
