Sharky's Beef Tips

The beer was good and stout, the atmosphere is fantastic, but the beef was a little bit tough. I will most likely try another dish on another day.

This was the third year in a row that we have rolled into Ft. Scott at a meal time, albeit a late lunch this time, and we have always sought this place out. Sharkey's is a sports bar of sorts with loud country music playing constantly while mute TVs mine whatever sport is in season, not the sort of place... More

We stopped in for a late lunch on our way to Kansas City. Charming bar with very good food. Service was quick and friendly. I had a turkey melt with a side of homemade garlic pepper potato chips. This place was an unexpected gem.

Stopped here for lunch when we saw a bunch of locals walk in. Menu is huge. Service was fast & friendly. Food arrived fresh and hot. Food was average... don't get me wrong.. it was good.. just nothing to rave about. I had the special fish-n-fries. Location is downtown, not too far off US 69. Not a bad stop if... More

Good food classic old building bar. Tons of options for food, maybe too many? Would go again. Decent service and price is fair.

We were staying at the nearby Sleep Inn and Sharkys was recommended to us by reception. We were able to walk there for dinner in a few minutes, which allowed us all to take a drink! Pub style bar/restaurant with good beers and a reasonably priced menu. Good service. I had the 10 Oz Sirloin tips, which were tasty. Place... More

On our way home, an hour to go and decided to stop for lunch. Went to Trip Advisor looking for something we weren't familiar with. It was Monday and many places in town closed. Had eaten at Sharkey's (or in that location) several yrs ago and were so-so about it. Decided to try again based on reviews. I wanted the... More

I love the food, wings were a little hot but really good and the company is always fun. Great spot to hang out.

Within walking distance of the Sleep Inn, my son and I walked here for dinner so we could watch the Kansas City Royals play on TV along with the NBA finals -- and they did have both on that night! It was a bonus for us that the burgers ended up being so yummy. If I had been in Fort... More

This is a pub-style eatery and bar with sports on TVs and jeans-wearing wait staff. The atmosphere is lively to say the least--the place was jammed on a Wednesday night. The food is good (not great) but well priced. If you are looking for a casual dinner in the charming downtown at Fort Scott, this is the place.
