I have been travelling though the mid west on holiday for 2 weeks now and must admit this was one of the worst experiences I have had in 3 cities. Both the hostess and waiter seem completly disinterested in serving me (as service to tables next to me was actually quite good). Starter salad was awful and the leaves tasted... More

We ate here on two nights and the food was very good. The cheesecake and crème brulee will be fondly remembered.

We sat at a table in the bar area for a light dinner before a tour and we are so glad we did. Loved the atmosphere. It had that old fashioned feel. However, the menu was anything but. Very creative drink menu and nice selection of craft beers. I had the 96 degree which combined jalapeno & basil with vodka.... More

Made a point of trying the most off beat menu items and wasn't disappointed. Tried the foie gras - a first for me and was happy to note I enjoyed it with all the extras. The duck cooked 2 ways - roasted was wonderful - the little steaks (?) A bit tough but the sauce and greens were very good.... More

Our Savannah hosts selected this site but there was no salmon on the menu for me. The manager of 45 Bistro allowed me to submit a salmon menu which they would follow. Despite 120 dinner reservations that night they prepared the salmon as I would expect it. I like to eat earthen vegetables and they had the best beet salad... More

The food was good but not special. Very good professional service. The wine list is nearly all California or S American, the only French wine I ordered was out of stock. Not "superb" by any stretch unless you like fruit bombs. If you go early, expect a bit of noise from the bar or the hotel lobby where they apparently... More

We enjoyed good food here, but nothing extra special. The restaurant is in a storefront location that did not seem well decorated to us.

You will get great service and a fantastic meal at 45 Bistro in the historic Marshall House. Make sure you have a drink in the bar before your meal for the complete experience. It is a beautiful space. The entrees are very imaginative and the wine selection is superb. Bistro 45 is pricey, but well worth it.

45 Bistro was superb from start to finish. We were fortunate enough for Danny (Manager) to be our server on the first night we arrived in Savannah. The food was a wonderful blend of southern, seafood, and gourmet. The friend green tomato appetizer was amazing and the sweet potato flan was the perfect sweet to my three pork entrée. This... More

We didn't have reservations and sat at the bar - the bartenders were extremely friendly. Decided on the Ribeye special (cooked perfectly, mushrooms and whipped potatoes yumm) and the "Brick Oven Roasted Chicken" - this was amazing! Chicken was moist and the wild mushroom risotto was out of this world. I wanted to order this again the next night! Ordered... More
