He had the BLACKEND GROUPER GRILLED CAESAR SALAD...the romain was grilled. Soooooo good. I had the CRAB CAKE SANDWICH with homemade... read more

This was our (boyfriend & I) first trip to Savannah. We were told by friends & co-workers how good the food is in Savannah. Just to divulge the entire truth, we are true Southerners so we know good food. Our standards are set pretty high. Before the trip, we combed through many TripAdvisor reviews & decided the first night in... More

Everything from beginning to end was perfect. In trying to avoid the downtown crush, we discovered this gem. Eclectic decor - original artwork and unmatched furniture only added to its originality. The food was excellent from the fried green tomatoes on. They redefine the portobello crab cakes and shrimp and grits. Give it a try next time in Savannah.

Stopped by for a late lunch. Restaurant was completely empty. But since so many Tripadvisor reviews liked it, I gave it a try. Had the blackened grouper. Very fresh fish and prepared very nicely. Served with a grilled caesar salad. Would go back.

This restaurant is a small and old building with Christmas lights hanging from the awning outside and just plain insides. The tables and chairs bespeak a relaxed atmosphere appropriate for the beach. We were at least hopeful that the food would be OK and found that it was excellent. I had the Hog snapper with mixed vegetables and chutney over... More

Read other reviews on Trip Advisor, wow did they get this right. Not many cars there at first, locals just walk. Had the blackened local caught sheephead fish. Really terrific. Try the Jamaican shrimp as an appetizer. No room for dessert. The service was fast and friendly.

From the service to the food Tortugas is on the top of my list. My wife had a crusty crabcake - all crab on a portabbla mushroom with spiniach lettuce with a balsamic vinigerete like we ever tasted I had a HAND CUT rib eye which was the best steak I have had in 30 years- the steak was perfectly... I had the Jesus and was mad at myself that I could only handle one meal. I would definitely go back again. Highly recommend the sunday brunch.
