After stopping in Savannah for the night, we needed a place to eat breakfast but didn't want to leave the dog in the car. Tortuga's had a few outside tables, and immediately brought us a dog bowl with fresh water. Breakfast was delicious! My husband had fried eggs on a baked potato, with sauteed veggies and a bed of fresh... More

Found this place on TA. Exterior was not very inviting, interior plain and nothing fancy, sports memorabilia and art for sale. Front Doors were open and the place was covered with flys. Ordered a hamburger. Waited 45 minutes, for a hamburger?

This restaurant was recommended to me during a recent trip, so I made a point to go there for lunch on my way to the airport. I had a Blackened Flounder BLT and it was really, really flavorful and made perfectly. My side dish was cole slaw and you could tell it was made fresh, not a weird premade cole... More

We stopped here for lunch with a hungry 2 and 4 year old. It was a fantastic little spot. The outside does not look very inviting but inside was nice, service was great and food was excellent. Everything we ate was great. We had the local caught blackened grouper BLT with homemade chips both of which which were outstanding, the... More

First heard of this place at University of cinncinnati medical center, was told it was a must if you find yourself in Georgia and that has turned out to be true. Amazing food and friendly service hole in the wall that did not disappointed. Would recommend to a friend a hundred times over!

While in Savannah, we were searching for a casual seafood dining location. We found Tortugas through Trip Advisor, and really enjoyed our meals. The breeze was blowing in the windows as we enjoyed really fresh seafood.

This is a little spot sort of hidden from the tourists. But we had a local with us when we visited, so we lucked out! Fourteen of us visited for dinner a couple of nights ago and had wonderful wonderful fish! We started with the fried shrimp appetizer (and several of us at the table ordered it as an entree!).... This little no-frills restaurant offers a casual place to dine and a menu that surpassed expectation upon first glance. As someone who likes shrimp and grits and has tasted numerous versions all around Savannah, I'd rate their version reasonably good although the taso ham was very chewy. I'd take issue with the prices when considering this eatery, as it lacks... More
