The Kayak was recommended by a fellow doing time share marketing in City Market. It was just what we were looking for. Very busy on a Friday lunch time & we needed to wait for a table. We had a vegetarian salad - Mideastern style and a Veggie/Tofu burrito. Both were plentiful and very tasty. We had two cups of... More

Salads were very good I ordered a half veggie sandwich with a hall West Indies salad, supposedly the small size. Wow, it definitely was substantial in size, more than enough, and very tasty. The cilantro based salad dressing was yummy. We also had a bbq pork wrap that was nicely done...and did I say that service was exceptional? Busy restaurant... More

I enjoyed delicious and healthy meal at Kayak Kafe downtown tonight. First, I had excellent Kayak Gumbo soup. I also enjoyed the Wild Salmon BLT sandwich special. Caroline and Carol were excellent servers and never allowed my coffee cup to be empty.

BBQ pulled pork tacos are on point. So is the Blackberry Cider. Good location and great service too. I definitely recommend eating here at least once!

Enjoyed sidewalk dining on a lazy Sunday afternoon. We had the Shrimp Tacos, BBQ and Pineapple Tacos and a Humus with Pita's appetizer. All of the food was fresh and tasty. The staff were friendly and accommodating.

Popped in here for a refreshing lunch. I had a Cubano Panini. They had a great selection of tacos, burritos, panini's and sandwiches. All of the ladies working here were extremely friendly and accommodating. We arrived at 11:30 and the place filled up completely soon afterwards. Highly recommend a visit.

Excellent restaurant, with a very nice variety of options on their menu. Had the Tilapia Tacos- lots of flavor and a very nice portion of 3 soft tacos filled to the brim with lots of goodness. My wife had a salad with cous cous- wheat berries- quinoa, black beans .... While the portion size seemed to be on the small... More

The kayak Kafe is not fancy but the food is good and the service friendly and efficient. There is a good selection of vegetarian food as well as meat and fish. Lovely cocktails and reasonable wine too. A good choice for a quick and tasty meal.

My wife and I dined at Kayak this past weekend and loved everything we had. The portions were large, the food tasty and the staff was great. Highly recommend the spinach & mushroom tacos :)
