Average healthy fare

Passing through Savannah and stopped at this cafe based on Yelp reviews. Most things on the menu looked fairly healthy which is not always easy to find. We both had the tomato basil soup and "Georgia Bliss" (chicken sandwich w/pesto, avacado, sun dried tomato). The soup was good, the sandwich was... read more

The food at Kayak Kafe is consistently great - I've only ever tried their paninis and a couple of soups, and have always been happy. Love that they have a bar menu now as well, the strawberry mojito is a personal favorite.

This is not an obvious location. While it is on Broughton Street, it is within a complex. It is located near Bull Street. Everything I have eaten over there many times. It is fresh, I believe organic, large portions & very reasonably priced. Sometimes I went with a friend who is a vegan and she found plenty to eat. I... More

We were in town for a long girls weekend away and just happened to be walking by this restaurant at dinner time. We stopped in and had a delicious meal. I had the Iron Booster salad and tomato bisque soup. The salad was delicious! I hope I can recreate it at home! The bisque was good but different. It's not... More

We had a quick lunch here before heading off to a bike tour and it was delicious. I had the shrimp quesedilla and my wife had a hot turkey sandwich. Both were freshly made, healthy and tasty. The service was very good. If you like it hot, they had a killer homemade hot sauce as well.

Stopped in on a whim. Had the Cubana sandwich with pork and turkey. Amazing flavor. Also tried the Mac and cheese app, which was perfect. Just enough cheese. Topped off with a couple beers, and it was a perfect meal

We grabbed lunch at this popular spot, after I read the good reviews on TA. It was tasty, fresh, and the service was excellent. I would recommend it!

We have enjoyed many lunches here, usually we incorporate a visit into one of our long walks through the historic district. Our favorite tables are outside, so we can people watch on Broughton Street. Favorites are the Jerk Chicken Sandwich and the small $5.50 West Indian Trader Curried Chicken Salad. They offer a variety of small salads for lunch, and... More

The Kayak was recommended by a fellow doing time share marketing in City Market. It was just what we were looking for. Very busy on a Friday lunch time & we needed to wait for a table. We had a vegetarian salad - Mideastern style and a Veggie/Tofu burrito. Both were plentiful and very tasty. We had two cups of... More

Salads were very good I ordered a half veggie sandwich with a hall West Indies salad, supposedly the small size. Wow, it definitely was substantial in size, more than enough, and very tasty. The cilantro based salad dressing was yummy. We also had a bbq pork wrap that was nicely done...and did I say that service was exceptional? Busy restaurant... More
