We had a nice dinner here. Friendly staff, great salads and other healthy options. It is in a good location but the really odd thing is that the entrance to a fitness center goes right through the middle of the cafe. It was odd but had no effect on our dinner.

My mom and I ate there twice while on a quick weekend trip and it was phenomenal!! I had a veggie salad which came with hummus and tabbouleh and my mother had the Italian panini, both were so fresh. The second time we just had the hummus as a snack and it was great. All the veggies we ate were... More

The food is good. Nothing else is. Recommend take out. The restaurant is basically in a vestibule and hallway for an athletic club. There are too few servers to handle the crowds, one unisex bathroom with a line, and you sit there eating while people go to and from the gym right through the restaurant. With some investment by management... More

A favorite spot for lunch or dinner. Friendly informative staff. Spotless bistro style eatery with plenty of seating inside or on the sidewalk. The menu has loads of well thought out fresh and delicious items that are geared toward the healthy eater. I have yet to be dissatisfied with anything tried. Every plate that goes past looks better than the... More

Ate lunch here based on the recommendation of a young lady working in one of the shops on Broughton Street. She said the tacos were the best in town. I ordered the lime chicken tacos on flour tortillas. They were good but I should have ordered them without the cabbage (their version of slaw) as I'm not a cabbage fan.... More

This casual, unassuming restaurant provides excellent food at a very reasonable price. It's centrally located on Broughton St. and easy to find. One of our best meals in Charleston.

Cool and light place in high traffic zone on Broughton and with patrons to the Gym down stairs, not much room to stand and wait for a table. If you arrive when they are busy, expect to wait for a seat and wait even longer for your meal. We did the Half & Half... and they accommodated with Gluten free... More

Kayak Kafé had a nice atmosphere. I ordered the pulled pork & pineapple tacos which had a very unique flavor and were tasty. My fiancé ordered the Mexican chicken salad which wasn't anything to write home about, the lettuce was cut into very large unmanageable pieces and the flavor just wasn't all that great. The service was ok, but it... More
